Rep. Steve King (R-IA) believes the House of Representatives will immediately begin impeachment proceedings if President Barack Obama unilaterally grants work permits and amnesty to millions more illegal immigrants by the "end of summer." Appearing on Breitbart News Saturday with co-hosts Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon and Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow from the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas, King said that if Obama "completely destroys the rule of law with the stroke of a pen" and "Congress fails to act," there will be "enough Republicans who didn´t have a desire to do this" that will be "immediately activated" to consider impeachment.

US Secretary of State John Kerry informed Hamas via Qatar last week that under his proposal for a ceasefire with Israel, based on the original Egyptian initiative, the US would guarantee the fulfillment of many of Hamas’s demands for an end to the conflict, Palestinian sources told The Times of Israel on Saturday. Kerry’s handling of the ceasefire effort was castigated by Israeli sources on Friday and Saturday, and the Israeli security cabinet unanimously rejected his ceasefire proposal on Friday night. (Snip) Kerry made no promises on the issue of the Hamas demand for the release of prisoners, other than a pledge to discuss the matter.

BEIT HANOUN, Gaza Strip— Hamas said it fired five rockets at Israel late Saturday after rejecting Israel´s offer to extend a 12-hour humanitarian cease-fire by four hours, casting new doubt on international efforts to broker an end to 19 days of fighting. Hamas said two of the rockets were aimed at Tel Aviv. Police in Israel´s second-largest city dispersed a peace rally attended by several thousand people because of the threat, a spokesman said. In Paris, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and European foreign ministers met earlier Saturday to find ways to transform Saturday´s initial 12-hour lull into a

VILLA PARK, Ill. — Fast food workers from across the country have voted in suburban Chicago to escalate their campaign for higher wages and union representation by including civil disobedience. More than 1,300 workers gathered today in Villa Park, Illinois. Some workers say they’re prepared to engage in sit-down strikes and organize more workers in their campaign to win $15-an-hour wages and a union. Their actions so far have included one-day strikes and a protest outside this year’s McDonald’s Corp. shareholder meeting. Industry officials say a $15 wage would hurt job creation, and that the solution is more education and

With the immigration issue raging on Capitol Hill, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell made a little-noticed move that could help Republicans stop Democratic Leader Harry Reid from jamming the GOP on immigration with the politics of the Israel-Hamas conflict. Friday, McConnell introduced a stand-alone spending bill to send money for Israel´s “Iron Dome” missile defense system, something Senate Democrats had sought to include in the larger border crisis package moving its way through the chamber. “Republicans are united in support of our ally Israel,” McConnell said in a floor speech introducing the bill. “We have legislation

Sunni radicals with the Islamic State of Syria and the Levant have created the al-Khansaa’ Brigade, an all-female unit that exists to impose on Sharia law on Iraqi and Syrian women. “We have established the brigade to raise awareness of our religion among women, and to punish women who do not abide by the law,” said Abu Ahmad, an ISIL official in the northern Syrian city of Raqqa, news website Worldcrunch reported. The armed women have reportedly detained and whipped individuals for wearing veils that are too thin, wearing hair clips under veils, walking alone and exposing too much of their face,

Hamas militants are attempting to negotiate a new arms deal with North Korea for missiles and communications equipment that will allow them to maintain their offensive against Israel, according to Western security sources. Security officials say the deal between Hamas and North Korea is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and is being handled by a Lebanese-based trading company with close ties to the militant Palestinian organisation based in east Beirut. Hamas officials are believed to have already made an initial cash down payment to secure the deal, and are now hoping that North Korea will soon begin shipping extra

Jerusalem - The Israeli military says three rockets have been fired from Gaza at Israel despite a proposed extension of a humanitarian truce in the Gaza war. Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said the group rejected Israel’s proposal to extend an original 12-hour lull by four hours, until midnight (2100 GMT) Saturday. The military says the three rockets were fired more than an hour after the period for the initial lull had ended. Meanwhile, the military warned residents of areas where there had been heavy fighting against returning there.

Sami Abu Zuhri, a spokesman for Hamas said there was no agreement to extend the ceasefire. The 49-year-old, who has a history of mental illness, was attempting to reload his gun when Silverman fired several shots, and D´Alonzo wrestled him to the ground. President Obama has emotionally checked out of his job a couple of years early, it seems. How can one tell? Candidates for president who brazenly assume they are the inevitable victor are sometimes accused of “measuring the drapes” for the White House. Obama, conversely, seems to be prematurely packing his bags in hopes for an early departure. ust last week, for example, the Los Angeles Times reported that “The First Family is believed to be in escrow on a contemporary home in a gated community where entertainers Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and Bing Crosby once maintained estates”.

House Republican leaders decided to move forward with a vote next week on measure to address the border crisis, including a measure strongly opposed by Democrats that would repeal a 2008 law that delays immigration hearings for children from Central America. Rep. Kay Granger, the Texas Republican who headed a GOP task force that presented a set of proposals that laid the groundwork of the upcoming bill, said it will be introduced as soon as Monday. Newberg, Org. - A growing number of openly transgender students have forced schools around the country to address questions so basic that they were rarely asked just a few years ago, much less answered: What defines a person’s gender, and who gets to decide? A small Christian college here, George Fox University, has become the latest front in this fight, refusing to recognize as male a student who was born anatomically female. The student calls himself a man, and as of April 11, when a state circuit court legally changed his sex, the State of Oregon agrees. But George Fox University sees him as a woman, and it prohibits unwed students from

Economic inequality in the United States has been receiving a lot of attention. But it’s not merely an issue of the rich getting richer. The typical American household has been getting poorer, too. The inflation-adjusted net worth for the typical household was $87,992 in 2003. Ten years later, it was only $56,335, or a 36 percent decline, according to a study financed by the Russell Sage Foundation. Those are the figures for a household at the median point in the wealth distribution — the level at which there are an equal number of households whose worth is higher and lower.

A nation cannot expect to remain sovereign without secure borders. In the roiling Middle East, dangerous Muslim terrorists are multiplying in force. ISIS is
