Judicial Watch to Boehner: Create Select
Committee to Investigate Benghazi
Breitbart´s Big Government, by Tom Fitton    Original Article

There is little doubt that Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) is dodging a thorough, top-to-bottom, no-holds-barred investigation of the Benghazi terrorist attack. The only question is, “Why?” As the only non-governmental organization in the country litigating in federal court to uncover the full story about what happened before, during, and following the Benghazi massacre, Judicial Watch knows first-hand that the full story has not been told and that a massive cover-up is underway. As we said in our special report, The Benghazi Attack of September 11, 2012: Analysis and Further Questions from a Diplomatic Security Service Regional Security Officer

Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates on Friday conceded that his publisher muffed the released of his new book Duty by letting the Washington Post focus on his criticism of the president, and he said instead that 590 of the 600 pages praised the president. “I was more loyal to him than some in his own White House,” an exasperated Gates said at the end of a whirlwind promotional tour this week. Since its release, critics of Gates have reacted to the stories by charging he was disloyal to former President Bush and President Obama. But he said that the book actually “portrays

Omnibus spending bill stuffed

Celebrated as a bipartisan victory, the omnibus bill Congress approved Thursday is yet another example of lawmakers´ propensity for overspending. The massive $1.1 trillion spending package funnels more money that it should to defense and other domestic projects. Following the outline set by the Ryan-Murray plan, the bill spends above the levels set by the 2011 sequester and wastes loads of money on special interests. Although the proposal increases spending across the board, the big winners of this bipartisan spending orgy are the Pentagon and the military-industrial complex. Thanks to Congress´ willingness to renege on its commitment to cut spending

13 House Democrats offer bill

Thirteen House Democrats have proposed legislation that would require the government to study hate speech on the Internet, mobile phones and television and radio. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and 12 other House Democrats, would look at how those media are used to "advocate and encourage violent acts and the commission of crimes of hate." The Hate Crime Reporting Act, H.R. 3878, is meant to update a 20-year-old study from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). That study, delivered to Congress in 1993, looked at hate speech on radio, TV and computer bulletin boards. Jeffries says the NTIA needs

The International Olympic Committee is requiring U.S. women’s hockey goalie Jessie Vetter to remove an inscription of the U.S. Constitution from her custom mask. The IOC says the inscription is propaganda which promotes the United States above other countries. (Snap) Dana Perino wondered how the inscription is different from the flags displayed on Olympic uniforms. “Every country has some sort of representation of their country on their uniforms,” she said.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Department of State condemns the brutal killing of transgender teenager Joseph Sanchez in Belize on January 12. We send our condolences to Joseph’s friends and family and the entire LGBT community in Belize. We are encouraged by the Belizean authorities’ swift investigation into the killing, and we echo the government’s commitment to ensure that all citizens, without exception, enjoy the full protection of the law. No one should be subjected to violence because of who they are or who they love.

When President Obama needs help, he can always turn to one of the Soros inner circle. In a speech on Jan. 17, Obama announced that his new Presidential Counsel John Podesta will lead a "comprehensive review of Big Data and privacy," following the NSA privacy scandal that has dogged his administration. What he didn´t mention was that Podesta is the founder of the liberal Center for American Progress. CAP has gotten $7.3 million from liberal billionaire George Soros since 2000 and was one of the keystone liberal think tanks founded after the Democrats lost the 2004 election. Podesta was to

It is always satisfying when one sees an insufferable jerk get his just comeuppance. And when the jerk is a bully who thinks he´s always right and all others, save his acolytes, are not only "always wrong" but "knaves and fools" as well, then it is especially sweet to see the jerk shown, on point after point, to have been consistently wrong. In "Krugtron the Invincible," economics historian Niall Ferguson uses Paul Krugman´s own words to filet the Keynesian economist. Ferguson´s three-part, 7,421-word article is a pleasure to read, and not only for those interested in economics. But on economics, perhaps the

What a difference a few months makes in our president. When a nobody named Edward Snowden wrapped himself in righteous robes last year to begin betraying his country by disclosing U.S. security operations while visiting its two worst strategic opponents, Barack Obama dismissed him as a mere hacker unworthy of presidential comment.[Snip] But today, the 44th president felt compelled to deliver a 5,500 word response to that hired hacker who´s so devoted to open democracy he´s taken shelter in Russia under the wily wing of a former intelligence officer systematically closing down that nascent democracy.

In economic matters, 2014 particularly looks like a widened and worsened extension of 2013. And such statement is no capricious at all. If we look into the immediate future in light of the most recent past, which is the year we just left behind, what we see is more of the same, or even worse, without making us think there is a possibility of a change on the part of the Government that may raise our hopes for what is to come could be better than what already happened in the past. WASHINGTON- Talk about words more costly than gold. The giant federal budget bill that Congress passed late Thursday will cost taxpayers nearly $3 million per word, or if you want to really think big, almost $700 million per page. The bill authorizes $1.1 trillion in spending. It is 1,582 pages long. An Internet word counting program said it has 370,445 words, numbers and symbols. So simple math comes up with $2.9 million per word average and $695 million per page average, though different parts of the budget package spend more than others sections. By comparison, there are only 4,543 words

House Republican leaders are preparing to unveil their "immigration principles" which will include amnesty provisions that the Congressional Budget Office determined would lower the wages of American workers. When he joined the White House last month, Podesta´s focus was said to be "climate change." The president´s speech contained little news. Readers will note that President Obama’s announced NSA “reforms” to exempt foreign leaders, delegate the storage of phone records to a non-NSA entity and add more lawyers to the process of accessing communications records substantially follow the recommendations of Cass Sunstein as laid out in the document Liberty and Security in a Changing World. These recommendations were analyzed in the post The Black Chamber. Do they help? I wrote that they did not. They do nothing to reduce the main source of danger, which is the close relationship between domestic intelligence gathering and law enforcement. Sunstein’s recommendations don’t really fix

A document obtained by The Associated Press on Friday shows Pope Benedict XVI defrocked nearly 400 priests over just two years for sexually molesting children. The statistics for 2011 and 2012 show a dramatic increase over the 171 priests removed in 2008 and 2009, when the Vatican first provided details on the number of priests who have been defrocked. Prior to that, it had only publicly revealed the number of alleged cases of sexual abuse it had received and the number of trials it had authorized. While it´s not clear why the numbers spiked in 2011, it could be because

Pyrrhic vindication feels pretty darn good. As Obamacare´s problems continue to mount, conservative morale has improved. For example, in 2008, despite vigorous objections from the right, PolitiFact rated as “true” then-Sen. Barack Obama´s promise that his health plan would allow Americans the choice to keep their existing health coverage. Although PolitiFact´s stamp of approval helped deliver two presidential victories to Obama, it later declared the same Obama promise to be 2013´s “Lie of the Year.”

It was the most awful confession Father Ernesto Caro ever heard in 22 long years of serving the church. The sinner was a killer for the Los Zetas cartel, Mexico´s most heinous crime syndicate. His specialty was chopping people into pieces, while they were still alive. "He said he smiled while he was doing it. He said he enjoyed
