Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin spoke today at Liberty University, blasting what she called a "war on Christmas" and promoting her latest book. Palin, LU Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. and college spokesman Johnnie Moore, sat atop the stage at convocation to discuss Palin´s career, her beliefs and her book - "Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas." (Snip) "[Palin is] attacked more than anyone I can remember," Falwell said Wednesday. However, her remarks this morning were met with thunderous waves of applause from the surrounding students.

The Obama´s younger dog is still getting used to the spotlight as it made a major faux pas during a White House ceremony Wednesday afternoon. Sunny Obama jumped up on a toddler who was a guest at the unveiling of the official Christmas decorations, pushing the little girl to the ground. The girl, later identified as Ashtyn Gardner, is one of the hundreds of children from military families who were on hand to help the First Lady display this year´s decorations. A witness in the case of the murder of Venezuelan Ambassador Olga Fonseca in Kenya 2012 told a court in Nairobi on Wednesday that the diplomatic mission would use the diplomatic bag for drug-trafficking purposes. "I am aware that the embassy was used to traffic drugs using the diplomatic bag," said former embassy driver Kevin Lameck, AFP reported. Fonseca, aged 57, was found strangled to death in her residence in Nairobi in July 2012. Seven people have been accused in the case, including Dwight Sagaray, the then first secretary of the embassy. Lameck´s statement was issued during cross-examination by Sagarya´s defense Lawyer Katwa Kigen.

Abortion in the Obamacare Exchanges

December 1 has come and gone with fresh assurances from the Obama administration that the federal exchange website, HealthCare.gov, will work for approximately 80 percent of its visitors. A review of the website, and the state of the health-care plans offered via the state exchanges, suggests that the problem of absent or incomplete information regarding plans that exclude coverage of elective abortions and abortion-inducing drugs and devices is far from fixed. The problem is multi-layered. First and foremost, the federal exchange continues to offer little or no information on abortion coverage, and what does exist there is profoundly misleading. A search

U.S. immigration officials are considering a proposal from Chinese investors to create a multibillion-dollar development in New York’s Catskills called "China City" -- raising concerns among critics about the potential cost to U.S. taxpayers and, according to one analyst, the possibility it could be a "stalking horse" for the Beijing government. A spokesman from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services told FoxNews.com that the proposal for Thompson, N.Y., has not been approved but is under consideration. The mysterious proposed development appears to be a step beyond the types of ethnic enclaves

Democrats are getting desperate in the defense of their troubled health-care law, with one congressman comparing the law’s troubled rollout to problems with his baby granddaughter. “I’ve got a one-year-old granddaughter, and on Thanksgiving Day she had a number of little glitches, but we’re not ready to throw her away because of a glitch here and there,” Representative Emanuel Cleaver (D., Mo.) said on MSNBC on Tuesday. “Most things in the beginning stages are going to be difficult to pull off.”

Obamacare highlights
Barack Obama´s inverse genius
Washington Examiner, by Noemie Emery    Original Article

The inverse genius of Barack Obama becomes more of a marvel each day. Is it a rule of politics that great measures shouldn’t pass on slender majorities? He enacted a huge bill with majorities running against it, and he and the system haven’t been the same since. Is it agreed that the "greatest good for the greatest number" should be the goal of all parties? He’s reducing the good of the many for the partial relief of the few. Is the justification for redistribution to spread wealth and well-being among as many as possible? He’s spreading angst and anxiety to millions and millions who,

During today´s White House Youth Summit, President Obama called on young people to do whatever they can to promote his signature health care law — including plying their customers with cheap booze. "If you are a bartender, have a happy hour," Obama said as the crowd laughed. "And also probably get health insurance because a lot of people don´t have it." Obama also encouraged young people who are student body presidents or workers at nonprofit organizations to help people get enrolled. "If you´ve got a radio show, spread the word on air," Obama added. Obama called on young people´s sense of patriotism to join

RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, the assault on the traditional, standard American way of life continues unabated, and it is being conducted by a minority of people in this country. There´s an amazing poll out there today from the Investor´s Business Daily, Investors.com which illustrates just what an extreme minority today´s Democrat Party and the American left really is, in terms of minority, in terms of thinking, the body of thought in this country represented by them. It´s stunning, but at the same time it´s optimistic in a sense to learn just how insignificant in numbers they are. Now, that doesn´t tell

RUSH: In Washington, President Obama is out talking to his left-wing extremist buddies at the Center for American Progress, a town hall on the education arts recreation campus. He´s talking about the economy and income inequality. OBAMA: Starting in the late seventies, this social compact began to unravel. Technology made it easier for companies to do more with less, eliminating certain job occupations. A more competitive world let companies shift jobs anywhere -- and as good manufacturing jobs automated or headed offshore, workers lost of their leverage. Jobs paid less, and offered fewer benefits. As a trickle-down ideology became more prominent,

NBC´s Michael O´Brien had some fun yesterday paraphrasing President Obama´s latest infliction on the ears of America: "Obama said his signature health care reform law is going nowhere as long as he´s in office." "Going nowhere" could mean either "here to stay" or "unable to progress." A look at the text of the president´s remarks makes clear, as if you have any doubt, that he means it in the former sense: "We´re not repealing it as long as I´m president, and I want everybody to be clear about that. . . . We´re not going to walk away from it."

The records feed a vast database that stores information about the locations of at least hundreds of millions of devices, according to the officials and the documents, which were provided by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden. There was an awkward moment at today´s House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing on Obamacare when a New York Democrat rapped GOP critics with quotes from a satirical New Yorker feature, The Borowitz Report. Among the youngest in this group, those aged 18-24, a full 52% support a recall effort that would throw Obama out of office. The number is only a little better among 18-29 year-olds, 47%. Individual members of Congress actually fare a little better with 45% of Millennials favoring a recall. A majority do, however, favor recalling Congress as a whole. Since his reelection, Obama´s overall approval with young adults has plummeted 11 points to just 41%;

The collective exhale from the state´s political leaders may be short-lived, however. Even before Gov. They contend the benefit cuts are unconstitutional and unfair to employees and retirees. Supporters hailed the bill as a solution that would "ensure retirement security" for current and
