Obama and Hillary’s Gunrunning Benghazi
aftermath: Libya on the verge of implosion
Canada Free Press, by Marinka Peschmann    Original Article

Libya is rapidly deteriorating and could fall into bloody chaos at any moment. When Ambassador Christopher Stevens, under orders from the Obama-Clinton regime, first arrived in Libya he came by boat with approximately 80 Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) people and contractors. Their mission was to topple Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi supposedly for humanitarian purposes. They accomplished their task by arming, aligning and coordinating with the “rebels”, who turned out to be Jihadists and Islamic militants.

The director of the Internal Revenue Service division under fire for singling out conservative groups sent a 2012 letter under her name to one such group, POLITICO has learned. The March 2012 letter was sent to the Ohio-based American Patriots Against Government Excess (American PAGE) under the name of Lois Lerner, the director of the Exempt Organizations Division.Lerner, who is based in Washington, on Friday apologized for the agency singling out groups based on search terms such as “tea party” and “patriot.” Internal documents from the Treasury Department inspector general shows that Lerner and other top officials

When Marion Bower decided to start her tea party organization in 2010, she didn’t know that it would take nearly two years for the Internal Revenue Service to approve her request for tax-exempt status. The Ohio woman also did not expect that providing information about the books her group read would be part of the application process. “I was trying to be very cordial, but they wanted copies of unbelievable things,” Bower told ABC News today. “They wanted to know what materials we had discussed at any of our book studies.”

Rush Limbaugh taunted President Barack Obama on Tuesday, saying he lives “rent free” in the president’s head less than a day after Obama criticized the conservative radio host at a fundraiser hosted by Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. “He simply cannot get me off his mind. I live rent free in his head. And he is using me as his convenient excuse for not being able to get anything done. He really thinks the Republicans would work with him if it weren’t for me,” the conservative radio host said on his program Tuesday, according to a show transcript.

A Brief History of IRS

Many Republicans are enraged over revelations in recent days that the Internal Revenue Service targeted conservative nonprofit groups with a campaign of audits and harassment. But of all the troubles now dogging the Obama administration—including the Benghazi fiasco and the Justice Department´s snooping on the Associated Press—the IRS episode, however alarming, is also the least surprising. As David Burnham noted in "A Law Unto Itself:

President Obama and his administration now find themselves in the middle of not one but two tough situations: the tragic killing of four Americans at a U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, and the Internal Revenue Service’s scrutiny of tea-party and other conservative groups. At best, they are cases of bad mishandling and embarrassment; at worst, they rise to the level of legitimate and consequential scandals. At this point, the significance of each is more in the eye of the beholder. Liberals and Democrats tend to de-emphasize both affairs, while many conservatives and

Even as the politicized tax enforcement scandal expands, the Internal Revenue Service continues to expand its political powers thanks to the Affordable Care Act. A larger government always creates more openings for abuse, as Americans will learn when the IRS starts auditing their health care in addition to their 1040 next year. Over the last decade or so the tax agency has stretched its portfolio and become an enforcer and decision-maker for government benefits and programs. Three years ago, National Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olson, who operates within the IRS, presciently noted that ObamaCare is "the most extensive social benefit

One notable aspect of the Internal Revenue Service scandal is President Obama´s strange view of accountability within the executive branch. In his Monday remarks addressing the targeting of conservative groups for tax-exempt scrutiny, Mr. Obama declared that the IRS is "an independent agency." In his press briefing after the story broke on Friday, White House press secretary Jay Carney hit the same note. "The IRS is an independent enforcement agency with only two political appointees," he said. The IRS is many things, but "independent" isn´t one of them. It is formally part of the Treasury Department and

Lois Lerner, the senior IRS official at the center of the decision to target tea party groups for burdensome tax scrutiny, signed paperwork granting tax-exempt status to the Barack H. Obama Foundation, a shady charity headed by the president’s half-brother that operated illegally for years. According to the organization’s filings, Lerner approved the foundation’s tax status within a month of filing, an unprecedented timeline that stands in stark contrast to conservative organizations that have been waiting for more than three years, in some cases, for approval.

Accountability: Suddenly, President Obama is mired in multiple scandals. If his friends in the media had been doing their jobs, they would have realized who he was well before last year´s election. The Washington Post´s "Fact Checker" hands out cute little "Pinocchios" to politicians who stretch the truth. But a lot of the time that long nose obstructs the little wooden boy´s vision. On Tuesday, for example, the Post gave Obama "Four Pinocchios" — the worst rating on its lie-ometer — for his recently repeated claim that "the day after (the Benghazi attack), I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism."

Last Friday, after the Associated Press learned about the Justice Department´s sweeping seizure of its phone records, AP CEO Gary Pruitt said "there can be no possible justification" for the action. No doubt that´s true. But there also seems to be no possible justification for the many other scandals now swamping the Obama administration — from Benghazi, to the IRS scandal to the White House´s attempt to shake down health companies for ObamaCare money. Except that they all stem from a common root — President Obama´s callous disregard for the rule of law. When not grousing about "this big, messy, tough democracy,"

Why? Because he believes that would make the country more docile and compliant.

The IRS came after Billy Graham, too, his son charged Tuesday in a letter to President Barack Obama. With the IRS admitting it gave extra scrutiny to conservative political organizations, Graham says he now believes that the review was part of an Obama administration effort of “targeting and attempting to intimidate us.” The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association urging of voters to back “candidates who base their decisions on biblical principles and support the nation of Israel” during last year’s presidential race was the reason why IRS agents visited the North Carolina offices of both Graham groups, the letter accuses

A newly obtained watchdog report described how the "inappropriate" IRS program that flagged conservative groups for extra scrutiny led to massive delays, with some organizations stuck waiting years to find out about their applications. The findings were contained in a highly anticipated inspector general´s report, obtained by Fox News, on a practice that IRS officials first acknowledged on Friday. The report revealed that the program began as far back as 2010. The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration concluded that it was the result of "ineffective management" and "inappropriate criteria" which must be corrected.

The news agency called the seizure a "massive and unprecedented intrusion". On Tuesday, Mr Holder said he had removed himself early on from the investigation that led to the
