Former Massachusetts senator Scott Brown will debut on Fox News Wednesday night, with an appearance on “Hannity.” “Senator Brown’s dedication to out-of-the box thinking on key issues makes him an important voice in the country and we are looking forward to his contributions across all Fox News platforms,” Bill Shine, the network’s executive vice president of programming, said in a statement. “I am looking forward to commenting on the issues of the day and challenging our elected officials to put our country’s needs first instead of their own partisan interests,” Brown added.

A wealthy Democratic donor is fanning the flames of speculation that Hillary Clinton is indeed running for president. Sacramento developer Angelo Tsakopoulos says Bill Clinton has confirmed the presumed plan that the former Secretary of State will make a bid for the White House again. The millionaire told the Greek Reporter that Clinton´s husband revealed his wife´s political ambition, as the power couple gear up for a 2016 race. ´Hillary will be our next President and she will be a great one,´ Mr Tsakopoulos told the Greek Reporter at a private gala event in California over the weekend.

It´s been two years since former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was injured in a shooting massacre in a Tucson supermarket parking lot. As a mark of her amazing recovery from a severe brain injury, the former Congresswoman posed with her husband Mark Kelly for a Vogue photo shoot as they discuss their relationship and new gun control activism in an article for the magazine´s March 2013 issue. The former lawmaker is pictured relaxing at her Arizona home as she gazes longingly at her husband - softly taking hold of Kelly´s hand as the desert sun streams in to surround them.

Introducing Jack Lew to the Senate Finance Committee on Wednesday, New York Democrat Chuck Schumer said the Treasury nominee has an "uncanny ability to delve into a subject" and "master it." Americans can only hope, because you wouldn´t know it based on the little that Mr. Lew claims to have known about what happened during his tenure at CitigroupC -0.79% from 2006-2008. Mr. Lew´s confirmation hearing was a substance-free zone, including his own job history. He was a senior executive at the giant failing bank before and during the financial crisis, but over several hours

Decatur City Schools spokeswoman Courtney Burnett says Obama intends to visit the College Heights Early Childhood Learning Center on Thursday in Decatur. She told The Associated Press that people she´s heard from within the school system are excited, and the visit "is a big deal" in the community just east of Atlanta. Here´s what has to be understood. It´s all about him. A State of the Union speech normally is about relating a president´s public policies to conditions in the country. An Obama State of the Union speech is about one thing: the Obama project. It would be unfair to say that everything and everyone else in a complex world are irrelevant. But let´s be clear about the priorities: Congress, the Cabinet of courtiers, the press, the people and indeed the national problems described in that State of the Union speech—it´s all brick and mortar in the future Obama monument.

33.5 million Americans watched President Obama´s State of the Union address last night, the lowest turnout since President Bill Clinton´s final State of the Union address in 2000, according to newly released Nielsen ratings. Obama´s totals also marked a significant decline from the first second-term addresses of his predecessors. President George W. Bush´s first second-term State of the Union address, in Feb. 2005, drew 39.4 million viewers. President Clinton´s first second-term address, in Jan. 1997, drew 41.1 million. In general, viewership for Obama´s State of the Union addresses has been in constant decline.

Senate Democrats on Wednesday said they’ll force a showdown on Chuck Hagel’s nomination to be defense secretary, scheduling a key test vote for Friday morning. Mr. Hagel, a former Republican senator whom President Obama tapped for the top Pentagon civilian post, will need to garner the support of 60 senators in that Friday vote, or else his nomination will be delayed. Republicans have said they need more information about Mr. Hagel before they can vote on him, but Democrats said the Vietnam war veteran is qualified and has answered enough questions “

Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) claimed “it’s astonishing” that President Obama never makes mention of the Muslim Brotherhood and their control of the Egyptian government. “He never mentions the Muslim Brotherhood. It’s astonishing. If there’s anything that has been a trend in this administration related to terrorism, it’s their unwillingness to call it for what it is,” Franks told CNSNews.com immediately following Obama’s State of the Union address Tuesday night. Franks also views the Muslim Brotherhood as a threat not only to the security of Israel but to the entire world. “And the Muslim Brotherhood has gained

Sen. Richard Burr, a member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, said that the CIA has “flatly refused” to give some Benghazi-related documents to the committee, which is conducting an investigation of the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attacks on the State Department and CIA personnel and facilities in Benghazi, Libya. Sen. Burr made the assertion last week at the confirmation hearing for John Brennan, whom President Barack Obama has nominated to be director of the CIA. Brennan currently serves as the president´s counterterrorism adviser. “Mr. Brennan, as you know, the committee´s conducting

Energy: The president´s proposed Energy Security Fund will stifle the private energy sector boom and provide permanent funding for future Solyndras and electric cars that nobody wants. And what about that pipeline, sir? A nonexistent crisis is a terrible thing to waste, and in justifying his proposal for a cap-and-tax scheme, President Obama claimed in his State Of The Union that "the 12 hottest years on record have all come in the last 15." He was lying. The fact is, according to new data released quietly last October by Britain´s Met Office, the world´s natural post-Ice Age

´Already, the Affordable Care Act is helping to slow the growth of health-care costs," the president claimed Tuesday. This ranks as one of the biggest State of the Union whoppers ever told. In fact, not only are health-care costs climbing, but employers are also shifting those costs onto the very "middle-class" families Obama spent much of his speech championing. Since ObamaCare was enacted, family health-insurance premiums on average have soared $3,000, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation. The president promised the law would slash premiums by an average of $2,500 per family.

Speeches: While pundits focused on the dreary policy details in President Obama´s State of the Union speech, we were left wondering who writes his material these days. The speech was full of — apparently — accidental humor. Either Obama recruited writers from "The Daily Show" or a thick cloud of unreality has descended on the White House. How else to explain lines like these in Tuesday´s speech: "It is not a bigger government we need, but a smarter government." That´s rich coming from the guy who jacked up spending to record levels. For months he´s bobbed and weaved questions about a rift with Chief Justice John Roberts, and now Associate Justice Antonin Scalia is finally conceding that he was disappointed with Roberts´ decision to uphold most of Obamacare last year. "I was disappointed it came out the way it did," he said, the first time he expressed his displeasure with the surprise Roberts decision. But he said Tuesday night during an address to Smithsonian supporters, "I don´t work for him, and he doesn´t work for me." Many conservatives thought Roberts would strike Obama down and there were

President Obama will leave Friday to vacation in West Palm Beach, Fla., squeezing in some rest and relaxation a few days after giving his State of the Union address. The White House announced the trip Wednesday and said that no public events were scheduled during the Presidents’ Day holiday weekend. Obama will travel to Atlanta on Thursday and Chicago on Friday to continue his public push for the progressive agenda outlined in his State of the Union speech. Obama recently vacationed with his family in Hawaii, a trip that was interrupted by negotiations over the so-called fiscal cliff.

President Obama called for stronger border security during last night’s State of the Union address. I wonder if he was aware there were at least five illegal immigrants sitting in the House chamber? (Snip) Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) invited Gabino Sanchez, an illegal immigrant with a criminal record. Sanchez, whose record is littered with misdemeanor charges liked driving without a license, is fighting deportation. Yet this man – who is putting American drivers at risk – was given an opportunity not afforded to law-abiding taxpayers. He was allowed to sit in the House chamber

Four California high-school students were reportedly suspended for chanting “U.S.A! U.S.A!” and wearing American flag bandanas during a basketball game. While their punishment has since been rescinded, school administrators said “the incident is far from over.” Oxnard Union School District superintendent Gabe Soumakian told Fox News Radio that “we need to pursue this further” and “work with teachers and students and the community about the concept of cultural proficiency.” Soumakian and Camarillo High School principal Glenn Lipman felt that the students’ actions might have had racist undertones since the schools have large Hispanic student populations.

While law enforcement officials scoured the hillsides above Big Bear on Tuesday for murder suspect Christopher Dorner, wardens from California´s Department of Fish and Wildlife were called in to patrol the rugged terrain of Highway 38. It was on that highway that the officers first encountered Dorner, engaging the former cop in a white-knuckle chase involving two commandeered vehicles. The pursuit culminated in what officials described as a wild shootout between Dorner and a state game warden.

Los Angeles -- The life and apparent death of the ex-Los Angeles Police Department cop who declared war against police corruption has generated a social media fringe of fans who are asserting that Christopher Jordan Dorner was really a hero seeking justice, despite being a suspect in four killings. The sympathizers have garnered 18,336 supporters on a Facebook page entitled "We Stand With Christopher Dorner." The online group has posted Dorner´s manifesto against corrupt police -- a document that was "scrubbed by mainstream media outlets," the webpage charges. Gosh, won’t it be marvellous if the next pope turns out to be black?[Snip]I’ve no doubt in the salons of Islington and the BBC canteens, they will all think this is a jolly good thing, much as they did when Barack Obama ushered in a golden new era of joy, healing, reconciliation and endless world peace. DENVER (CBS4) – There’s a chance Denver will opt out of Amendment 64 despite the fact voters in the city overwhelmingly approved legalizing marijuana. Some members of the city council argue that while the majority of Denver voters said yes to the amendment, it was in an effort to decriminilize small amounts. Their intentions may not have been to have a marijuana store in their neighborhood. “There are a lot of safety issues as it relates to that, tremendous safety issues,” Denver Police Chief Richard White told council members at a committee meeting on Monday night.
