According to reports, on Feb. 7th, 29-year old Jennifer Morbelli died due to complications from a late-term abortion performed by Dr. LeRoy Carhart, an abortion doctor celebrated by the left and embraced by Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. At a press conference held on Feb. 11th in Germantown, MD, it was reported Morbelli had learned there was some abnormality with her unborn child and chose to have an abortion 33 weeks into her pregnancy. (With modern technology, a child becomes viable outside the womb around 20 weeks.) The late-term abortion method used has four stages that

The second unofficial spokesman for the Heart Attack Grill in downtown Las Vegas has died from an apparent heart attack. John Alleman suffered a heart attack last week as he waited at the bus stop in front of the restaurant, located inside the Neonopolis at Fremont Street and Las Vegas Boulevard. Alleman was taken off life support shortly after 1 p.m. on Monday, said restaurant owner Jon Basso. He was 52. "He lived a very full life," said Basso, who seemed shaken when reached by phone Monday evening. "He will be missed." The Pennsylvania native is survived by his

The White House has released limited excerpts of President Obama´s State of the Union Address: “It is our generation’s task, then, to reignite the true engine of America’s economic growth – a rising, thriving middle class. "It is our unfinished task to restore the basic bargain that built this country – the idea that if you work hard and meet your responsibilities, you can get ahead, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or who you love. "It is our unfinished task to make sure that this government

President Barack Obama had lunch today with members of the press. But we likely won´t find out what was discussed: The entire luncheon was off the record. "The anchors of all three broadcast evening newscasts -- NBC’s Brian Williams, ABC’s Diane Sawyer and CBS’s Scott Pelley -- will be in attendance," Huffington Post reported today. Former aides to Democratic politicians who are now working as journalists were scheduled to be in attendance, too. "Some cable hosts will also be on hand, including MSNBC´s Chris Matthews. WASHINGTON — Seats at President Obama´s State of the Union address Tuesday night will be filled with the legislative priorities of a bitterly divided Congress. Efforts to humanize intensifying national policy battles will bring some strange bedfellows to the address, where a survivor of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre will find herself in the same audience as Ted Nugent, a rocker turned gun rights activist who was the subject of a Secret Service investigation last year after making controversial remarks about Obama. Nugent´s invitation, which came from Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas), was announced Monday, about the time

RUSH: I was dead serious. We talked about this yesterday. The Democrats, Obama, they can´t win in the arena of ideas. That´s not what their campaigns are about. They can´t even give voice honestly to their ideas, so what they do is simply discredit, tarnish, destroy, ruin, whatever word you want to use, their opponents. And they do it, in the case of the presidential campaign, there was two to three months in the spring to summer where all that Romney stuff ran. Romney didn´t have any money.

Two officers have been shot during a raging gun battle with Christopher Dorner, the fugitive ex-LAPD cop suspected of killing three people in Southern California. Early reports from the scene say Dorner is currently holed up in a group of buildings in a remote area of San Bernardino National Forest, holding heavily-armed police officers at bay. Hundreds of gunshots could be heard coming from the woods when officers engaged Dorner, who promised in an online manifesto to ´wage war´ against police and kill any officers who tried to stop him. Safer alternatives exist to diclofenac, say researchers at the Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, who want it banned worldwide. Diclofenac, like ibuprofen, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug or ‘NSAID’. It is often prescribed after surgery and to combat arthritic pain, when ibuprofen is not strong enough. It can also be purchased over the counter at a pharmacy without a prescription, for example in the branded form of Voltarol Pain-eze tablets. But two years ago the Barts researchers found that it was linked with a 40 per cent increased risk of heart attack and stroke.

RUSH: Yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, right here on this program, we had a sound bite for you. It was Nancy Pelosi saying, "We don´t have a spending problem." She said we have a budget deficit problem. I intended to make a point about this yesterday. As we do almost every day on this program, I had a call or I brought the subject up myself about my optimism, about how, at some point all of this is gonna bottom out and we´re gonna rebound. And I´ve been honest with you about that optimism.

The Shin Bet, Israel Police and IDF have exposed and arrested a terror cell whose members infiltrated an IDF base on December 21, 2012, attacked a soldier on sentry duty and stole his weapon, an M-16. The cell belonged to the Fatah movement, which is headed by Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas. Its members are residents of the Kalandia and a-Ram neighborhoods of Jerusalem. It is made up of five men aged 25 to 37, one of whom is an Israeli citizen. The attack took place at the Rama base in northern Jerusalem. Rulon Gardner´s epic upset of Russian wrestling great Alexander Karelin in 2000 remains one of the most compelling moments of the modern Olympics. Starting in 2020, youngsters looking to Gardner and Karelin for inspiration won´t have a chance to excel on the sport´s biggest stage. Gardner and nearly everyone else associated with the sport in the U.S. were jolted Tuesday when International Olympic Committee leaders dropped wrestling from the Summer Games. The move is set to take effect for the 2020 Olympics and eliminates a sport that´s been a staple of both the ancient and modern games.

The Washington Post´s Greg Sargent on Tuesday seemed shocked that Joe Scarborough, who he paints as the voice of moderation, agrees more with Democrats on deficit issues than Republicans. On the subject of fiscal problems and the debt, the MSNBC host told Sargent, "I don’t expect to be cheering House Republicans anytime soon." The left-leaning Post writer asked if, on deficit issues, Scarborough´s "views are indeed more in line with Dems than with Republicans." The cable host replied, "yes." He then went on to attack Barack Obama from the left: "I don’t see the Democrats focusing seriously
