Could an actor playing the White Rabbit be racist? Disneyland is being sued by Jason and Annelia Black, who say their African-American children were treated differently than white kids who approached the “Alice in Wonderland” character for hugs and pictures at the Anaheim, Calif., amusement park. According to Fox5SanDiego.com, 6-year-old Jason Black Jr. approached his favorite character at the park, but was rebuffed. Jason told the station, “I went to hug him, but he turned his back. It’s made me feel sad because I wanted to really hug him.” Older brother Elijah reportedly then tried to hold the rabbit’s hand

WASHINGTON — Today, Speaker John Boehner, R-West Chester Twp., released the following column discussing the impact the president’s sequester will have on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base: “In 2011, President Obama proposed a series of mandatory spending cuts called a ‘sequester,’ which was subsequently passed by Congress as part of the 2011 debt limit agreement. “These arbitrary spending cuts, which are scheduled to go into effect March 1, will affect our region if they are implemented. The president’s sequester – or the #Obamaquester, as we call it on Twitter – should be replaced with other, more responsible spending cuts

The illegal hack of Bush family email accounts had an unanticipated consequence, the Smoking Gun reports: The hacker also intercepted photos that George W. Bush e-mailed two months ago to his sister showing paintings that he was working on, including self-portraits of him showering and in a bathtub. Another image shows the former president painting at the family’s Maine retreat (his subject is St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, a historic seaside chapel down the road from the sprawling Kennebunkport compound).

RUSH: I must warn those of you in Big Bear Lake, California, there´s a nut on the loose. He´s on the prowl. He´s shooting people. This former cop, this Dorner guy, he´s running around, and he loves left-wingers and so forth. I think the safest thing for those of you to do in the area where he is thought to be is turn in your guns now. They tell us that will stop him. That´s right, because nothing strikes fear into killers like people that don´t have any guns.

Breitbart News has learned that one of the witnesses at the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on immigration next week will be outspoken illegal immigrant Jose Antonio Vargas--who will be seated at the same table as Chris Crane, leader of the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement employees’ union that is suing the government over Obama administration rules that make it very difficult for ICE agents to arrest illegal immigrants. Vargas, who works as a journalist, arrived in the U.S. from the Philippines at the age of 12, but is not eligible for the administration’s new guidelines because of his age.

He said Obama told him at 5:15, while the attacks in Benghazi were just underway (impression), "Do whatever you gotta do to save American life," and that´s the last they heard of him. He was unreachable. Where did he go? It came out in the hearings that Obama never called back to check on Benghazi.

Venezuelan Minister of Planning and Finance Jorge Giordani announced on Friday an adjustment in the official exchange rate, from VEB 4.30 per US dollar to VEB 6.30 per US dollar, which implies 46.5% devaluation. The increase in the exchange rate will help improve public accounts, which ended 2012 with a fiscal deficit of 16% of gross domestic product. The move will be a breath of fresh air for state-run oil firm Petróleos de Venezuela (Pdvsa), as the company will get more bolivars per US dollar sold to the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).

Venezuela just undertook a massive currency devaluation, repegging the bolivar to a rate of 6.3 per U.S. dollar from a previous exchange rate of 4.3 bolivars per dollar. The government also announced that it would shutter the a Venezuelan currency exchange system known as SITME. Given the currency devaluation underway in other economies around the world right now – notably, Japan – a few are calling this Venezuela´s foray into the global "currency war" between countries trying to devalue their currencies in order to increase export competitiveness.

The war of words between conservatives and former Bush advisor Karl Rove has gone nuclear, this time over Rove´s claim that he worked for Ronald Reagan´s 1980 campaign and on a Reagan advisory board. The bottom line: While Rove told The O´Reilly Factor Thursday that he worked for the Gipper, Reagan´s acclaimed biographer Craig Shirley says there´s no evidence to back Rove up. Worse: In an email Shirley is sending to conservative leaders, he reveals that Rove backed former President Ford in 1976 and in 1980 worked for former Texas governor who didn´t back Reagan until after he was nominated.
