Two people were killed and 14 were wounded in weekend gun violence, including an off-duty Chicago Police officer who was shot during an attempted robbery. The off-duty officer, who is in “stable” condition, was shot three times during an exchange of gunfire with the would-be robber at West 63rd Street and South Nashville Avenue early Monday, police said.
