He has the most-watched YouTube video of all-time, an international phenomenon of a mega-hit in “Gangnam Style,” has made appearances on nearly every American morning talk show under the sun from Today to Ellen, and is scheduled to appear at the White House later this month. It’s safe to say that Korean pop star PSY is now the “most-liked” entertainer on the planet. It has recently been unearthed in the states, however, that eight years ago, long before achieving this massive stardom, the mega-star rapped about “slowly and painfully” killing American military members and their families. Does the Muslim Brotherhood have its own torture chambers? Well it wouldn’t be a proper totalitarian movement if it didn’t. In the Middle East having your torture chambers is like an American politician getting his own handicapped parking sticker, it’s a sign that you have real power now. Al-Masry Al-Youm spent three hours Wednesday night in a Muslim Brotherhood torture chamber at the presidential palace. The central chamber was located at the gate of the palace in front of Omar bin Abdel Aziz Mosque on Merghany Street. The chamber was cordoned by iron barriers and Central Security Forces,

Obama adviser David Axelrod signaled optimism Friday that a deficit-reduction deal will be reached this month. Axelrod said President Obama and Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) face obstacles and dismissed the House GOP´s proposal of $800 billion in new tax revenues as insufficient because it doesn´t specify what tax breaks would be closed and fails to raise rates on the rich. But Axelrod said he was encouraged with the direction of the negotiations. "The $800 that Speaker Boehner´s talking about would not be satisfied by simply closing deductions and they have not identified

Michael Moore only hearts democracy when it adheres to his strict, far-left worldview. Moore lost his cool anew over Michigan GOP members passing "right-to-work" legislation in his home state, sending union backers into a frenzy. Now, he´s letting loose on Twitter, spewing the expected bile regarding those who share a different political world view. First, he called for a revolt against the system: Still enraged by actions of Republican shock troops in the lame duck MI legislature yesterday. Revolt, anyone? shar.es/6EXO8 Then, Moore resorted to ugly name calling: Repubs gerrymandered our state like political serial killers.

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) on Monday blasted defunct Twinkie manufacturer Hostess Brands, Inc., for “unreasonably delaying providing the [Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International] Union with other requested information” and ordered the company to post signs admitting its bad-faith bargaining in its Biddeford, Maine offices. It is unclear who will seen the signs. “It doesn’t sound like it hurts Hostess because no one works in that factory anymore,” said Jim Anderson, the financial secretary for the BCTGM Local 334, the union that brought the suit. “It’s too little, too late

Anecdotes — that’s how Gov. Deval Patrick always dismisses stories about alleged criminals on welfare. So this morning, Governor, I’d like to introduce you to 11 more “anecdotes.” They are all from Haverhill. Ten of the anecdotes are accused of distribution of heroin and the 11th for “sale of ammunition.” According to testimony last week in Haverhill District Court, all 11 are on welfare — mostly SSI and SSDI. According to federal statistics, despite their relative youth (they range in age from 26 to 51), they have only a 1 percent chance of ever ... recovering. By which I mean,

I was halfway into the latest celebratory profile of Chris Hughes, the Facebook multi-millionaire and owner of the New Republic, when I was struck by the following idea, which I provide free of charge. If you are a millionaire or billionaire looking to avoid negative or critical or even remotely credulous press coverage, stop what you are doing, invest in a media property, and employ liberal writers and editors. You will probably lose a lot of money, but the intangible benefits of slavish praise and deflected criticism will be priceless.

While the media pants with exhilaration over a dip in the unemployment level that was created by over a half-million people giving up and dropping out of the workforce, a deep-dive into the employment numbers also reveals that it´s mainly government workers benefitting from what meager job growth we are seeing. Over the last five months, 73% of all jobs created were government jobs. Moreover, the unemployment rate for government workers plunged to 3.8% in November -- which is considered full employment. The Republicans are looking for the best way to fall off Fiscal Cliff, which has become a place fixed in the geography of public opinion, like Sioux Falls and Grand Canyon. If a man can survive going over Niagara Falls (another famous fixed place) in a barrel, maybe the Republicans can survive falling off Fiscal Cliff in a barrel with House Speaker John A. Boehner. The latest Republican gimmick is to split the difference on income-tax rates between the current rate of 35 percent and the Clinton-era rate of 39.6 percent — and with substantial cuts in government spending.

Something is very wrong in the world when the most dogmatic and inflexible president in recent memory can make unreasonable demands of his GOP budget opponents and yet be confident they´ll be blamed for the impasse. It is past time Barack Obama be held accountable for his intentionally irresponsible fiscal policies that are guaranteed to take us into national bankruptcy. It is outrageous enough that he is steering us into insolvency, but it is unbearable that he´s fraudulently blaming the Republican Party for it to boot. The UN General Assembly approved a resolution on Monday by a vote of 174-6 that would require Israel to open its nuclear program to inspection “without further delay.” The only countries voting against it were the U.S., Canada, Marshall Islands, Micronesia and Palau. And the animus toward Israel doesn’t stop there; the UN also wants to convene a meeting to ban nuclear weapons from the Middle East, which would leave Israel vastly outnumbered and essentially helpless against the Islamic hordes wishing to eradicate it. There was supposed to be a similar meeting this month in Helsinki,

For Egypt´s Muslim Brotherhood-dominated government, more battle tanks and jet fighters are on their way from the United States. Cairo’s military link to Washington has remained intact, meaning the U.S. will continue to modernize the biggest military in Africa – even as President Mohammed Morsi has decreed near-absolute power for himself and his supporters and opponents battle outside his palace. Analysts say Egypt’s military buildup presents risks for Washington – and Israel – with the growing influence of the Brotherhood, whose overriding goal is to establish Shariah, or Islamic, law worldwide.

Many motorists don´t know it, but it´s likely that every time they get behind the wheel, there´s a snitch along for the ride. In the next few days, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is expected to propose long-delayed regulations requiring auto manufacturers to include event data recorders — better known as "black boxes" — in all new cars and light trucks. But the agency is behind the curve. Automakers have been quietly tucking the devices, which automatically record the actions of drivers and the responses of their vehicles in a continuous information loop, into most new cars for years.
