Jefferson City - Missouri Auditor Tom Schweich is planning to review the Department of Social Services’ administration of two assistance programs. Schweich says the audit will focus on Temporary Assistance for Needy Families and the Electronic Benefit Transfer process, which is used to access food stamps. The audit has been added to the 2013 schedule for Schweich’s office. Schweich pointed to recent reports of benefits being accessed from casinos, gentlemen’s clubs and locations around the world. The International Energy Agency (IEA) said in its world outlook for 2012 this morning that the US will be a net exporter of gas by 2020, with all the vast implications of abundant cheap gas for its chemical, plastics, glass, and steel industries.
