Remnants of Hurricane Sandy will spark fierce winds and rain across Britain from tomorrow, forecasters predicted last night. One warned of a “horror show” in time for Halloween. Two British soldiers have been shot dead by a man wearing Afghan police uniform in what appeared to be the latest “green on blue” attack where a rogue member of the Afghan forces has killed his allies. The soldiers from 1st Battalion The Royal Gurkha Rifles were shot dead at a police checkpoint in Helmand province. The president says there are still risks of flooding and downed power lines. He called the storm "heartbreaking for the nation." Unlike some of my colleagues on the right, I don't think there's a conspiracy at work. Rather, I think journalists tend to act on their instincts (some even brag about this; you could look it up). And, collectively, the mainstream media's instincts run liberal, making groupthink inevitable. In 2000, a Democratic operative orchestrated an "October surprise" attack on George W.
