A longtime Military Insider gives a brief and searing response regarding whether or not U.S.military could have successfully been deployed in time to save Americans under attack by terrorists on September 11th at the American consulate in Benghazi. MILITARY INSIDER: How soon could we have gotten to Benghazi? All that was needed to send those -deleted- scattering was one single F-18. Range of app. 2k. TS of over 1000mph. Do the math. Badges, T-shirts and iPhone cases are just a few examples of Obama 2012 merchandise you can buy to show your support. But Beyonce took it one blinging step further on Saturday by wearing a pair of earrings with the President's name on them. And now sales for these earrings have gone through the roof with 1000s of pairs being snapped up by fans across the world. The pro-Obama earrings were designed by Puerto Rican jewelry designer, Erika Peña. The minute photos of Beyonce wearing the earrings emerged, she was flooded with orders for the $32 set.

President Obama has been hitting hard on the ostensible success of his taxpayer-funded bailouts of General Motors and Chrysler in any way he can, touting the supposedly approaching comeback of American manufacturing due to his skillful “I bet on American workers” policies and bloviating about how that cold-hearted Mitt Romney would’ve simply let the American auto industry eat cake, or something. It’s been a big campaign theme in the all-important dead-heat battleground state of Ohio, and over the weekend, Team Romney hit back with this new television ad: Last week, the news that Chrysler and its Italian parent Fiat are

First Lady Michelle Obama said Friday that her husband, President Barack Obama, was not “pointing fingers” and blaming anyone for the economic crisis happening when he took office. But one day before, on Thursday, Obama blamed the policies of “the previous president” for the ongoing weak economy. Appearing at a Las Vegas campaign stop on Friday, Mrs. Obama said that the president did not blame anyone else for the economic crisis he inherited. “He inherited an economy in rapid decline,” she said. “But instead of pointing fingers, instead of placing blame,

In light of President Obama's statement in an Oct. 26 interview that the "minute" he found out about the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11 he issued a directive to subordinates "to make sure we are securing our personnel," House Armed Services Chairman Buck McKeon (R-Calif.) has sent a letter to Obama demanding that he reveal exactly whom he ordered to do what on that day. “Although this response did not specifically answer the reporter’s question, your first directive would appear to involve potential actions by the U.S. military,” McKeon said in

According to the latest Rasmussen state polls, Mitt Romney is in position to win the presidency; he should win at least 279 electoral votes. Romney leads in Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Colorado, and New Hampshire; Obama leads in Nevada. Wisconsin and Iowa are tied. Were Romney to win both Wisconsin and Iowa, he’d secure another 16 electoral votes, putting him at 295 electoral votes. By way of contrast, George W. Bush won 286 electoral votes in 2004. This is the first time that Rasmussen polls have shown Romney winning enough electoral votes to win the presidency. Rasmussen hasn't moved any of

After his meteoric ascent to the top of the American political arena in the country’s history, we are now in the midst of witnessing one of the most stunning collapses of any man ever to hold the office of President of the United States. Over the past few weeks we have begun to see the ultimate unraveling of support for the president, with women and youth fleeing from his side. But what is even more surprising and perhaps unimaginable to the president and his faithful media cult is that he is now also losing members of his

National Review's Jonah Goldberg took a comedic shot at President Obama Monday. Appearing on Fox News's Special Report, Goldberg jokingly said, "It’s huge progress that he didn’t blame this hurricane on a video." Early in the panel discussion, Goldberg said, “I think Charles is a little too hard on Obama. Frankly, it’s huge progress that he didn’t blame this hurricane on a video. And that alone is big step forward for the guy.” This evoked laughter from fellow panelist Kirsten Powers and a comment from syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer who said, “Or on George Bush.”

There are all kinds of reputable pollsters whose results never seem to get anyone at the corrupt Politico excited enough to launch a headline -- this includes Scott Rasmussen. But man alive, the corrupt Politico sure does love them some left-wing pollsters, especially PPP, which is associated with the Daily Kos and SEIU. You would think that would be bad enough, but the corrupt Politico just hit a new low by disguising as serious news an affirmation of strategically leaked internal polling from the pro-Obama Super PAC Priorities USA.

Today's personal income report may not get much attention for a lot of reasons. If a piece of government data falls in a forest and nobody's around because they're bracing for Hurricane Sandy, does it make a sound? But investors and consumers should not completely ignore the latest figures for September on consumer spending and saving. Personal expenditures rose 0.8% last month, well ahead of the 0.4% increase in personal income. As a result, the saving rate fell to 3.3% from 3.7% in August. This is the third consecutive month of declines in the savings rate. As recently as June,

Erie, Pa. - The Republican campaign bus roared into the party headquarters parking lot in the northwestern Pennsylvania town of Erie on a chilly afternoon for a rally that had all the trappings of a close contest. Hundreds of people wearing Romney-Ryan buttons and hats, plus one man carrying a “NObama” sign, crammed inside the headquarters and cheered loudly as party officials blasted President Barack Obama. Volunteers manned telephone banks imploring people to vote. Why the Republican hubbub in a state that’s voted Democratic in presidential elections for two decades? They think it might be in play.
