On yesterday’s America Live, father of Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods – who was killed in the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya – talked with Megyn Kelly about the current administration’s handling of the situation. Today, Woods returned to the program to react to breaking news exclusively reported by FOX revealing that officials denied military requests to provide assistance three separate times during the seven-hour attack on the consulate. It was Tyrone Woods who disobeyed those orders to stand down in order to come to the aid of his fellow Americans …

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which endorsed Barack Obama for president in 2008, has reportedly decided not to endorse any presidential candidate in 2012. Sources say the paper is not eager to experience the same kind of heat it received after endorsing Republican Governor Scott Walker in the recall election earlier this year: I asked editorial page editor David Haynes about this and he replied in an email: “I’m writing a column on our decision for the Sunday paper. We may post that early (Friday). As a point of history: The JS did not endorse in the 2000 presidential election,

A shrieking Chris Matthews on Thursday smeared the Republican Party, comparing the abortion stances of candidates such as Paul Ryan and Richard Mourdock to those found under Sharia law. The hyperbolic Hardball anchor snarled, "I don't like to comparing anything to Sharia, but there's something about this theocratic notion that we're going to apply all our philosophical beliefs, our metaphysics, our religious training and turn it into law and turn it into criminalization." [See video below. MP3 audio here.] Matthews continued, "And it's not quite like stoning, but it has that same sort of impulse which is we're

Now we know why civil rights groups like the NAACP, ACLU, and the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights are so upset about election integrity groups like True the Vote monitoring the polls on November 6. Pat Moran gave us a clue yesterday. Moran revealed on James O’Keefe’s undercover video why these groups have been so dishonest, ugly, and desperate to smear True the Vote and keep them out of the polls. Simply, the “election protection” operation of these civil rights groups was seen, at least to Moran, as the final step in committing voter fraud.

While a sitting President of the United States diminishes himself with the small silly closing argument of a loser more interested in binders, Big Bird, birth control, and "bullshitter" as opposed to exploding gas prices and increased poverty -- today in the swing state of Iowa, Governor Mitt Romney will make a major economic address as his campaign further expands the electoral battlefield into Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota. According to The New York Times, Romney's speech today, coming just eleven days before the election, will be a closing economic argument framing the race

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama said in an interview released on Thursday that the next important step for making the financial sector safer is to make sure executive pay is less closely tied to risky bets. In an interview to be published on Friday in Rolling Stone magazine, Obama said that despite passage of Dodd-Frank financial reform legislation, there is more to be done to make financial markets safe after the damage caused by the crisis of 2007-2009. "The single biggest thing that I would like to see is changing incentives on Wall Street and how people get

On his show tonight, Sean Hannity highlighted President Obama‘s “R-rated” attack on Mitt Romney when he called his Republican rival a “bullshitter” in a Rolling Stone interview. He asked how the man who used to run on the idea of optimism and away from fear-based campaigning is now distracting from the real issues creating controversy over things like Big Bird. John Sununu said that Obama’s use of profanity showed the president has “no class” and he was trying to “appear… cool” to the magazine’s audience. He argued that Obama is not someone who young children could consider their

U.S. economic growth picked up in the third quarter as rising consumer outlays and a surge in federal government spending more than offset weaker business investment, falling exports and drought damage, offering a mixed picture of the recovery just weeks ahead of the presidential election. The nation's gross domestic product—the broadest measure of goods and services produced by the economy—grew at an annual rate of 2.0% between July and September, the Commerce Department said Friday. Economists polled by Dow Jones Newswires had forecast 1.8% growth. Friday's figures are the final GDP reading ahead of November's election
