Obama's gonna need a bigger
October Surprise than this
American Thinker, by Rosslyn Smith    Original Article

It looks like that Gloria Allred's October Surprise is Maureen Stemberg, the woman who divorced the Staples founder a quarter of a century ago in a bitterly fought contest and who seems to try to re-litigate the matter every few years since then. Ace of Spades located a less than sympathetic 2006 Boston Herald article in which the former Mrs. Stemberg was trying to embarrass her ex husband and his politically ambitious friend Mitt Romney into giving her more money

Barack Obama has indicated that he believes his re-election prospects rest on a big turnout among Hispanic voters - not necessarily in support of him, but because they have been turned off by Republicans and Mitt Romney. He made his controversial remarks in a conversation with journalists which he demanded should be 'off the record' but which were made public after an editor complained about the unprecedented request. 'Should I win a second term, a big reason I will win a second term is because the Republican nominee and the Republican Party have so alienated the fastest-growing demographic group in the country

As Benghazi news reports now pummel down upon the head of President Barack Obama, a longtime D.C. political operative who has spent the past three years attempting to correct the mistake that was the 2008 election, declares in this brief communication that the only way Obama can now be allowed a second term is if he steals the 2012 election. Ulsterman: Can you confirm the Benghanzi news reports? The emails? Was this the breaking story you referenced earlier? Is momentum still with Romney?

The Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education, founded with the goal of giving every child the education necessary to succeed in the changing marketplace, was the powerbroker behind the Massachusetts Education Reform Act of 1993. The organization spearheaded an unprecedented groundswell of collaboration between Massachusetts educators and policymakers. Former Gov. The White House this morning attempted to down-play the significance of emails sent to top national security officials during the attack on the diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, one of which suggested a known terrorist group claimed credit for the attack in its immediate aftermath. As obtained by ABC News’ John Parkinson and posted last night, the emails seem to be ones sent by the State Department Operations Center to distribution lists and email accounts for the top national security officials at the State Department, Pentagon, the FBI,

Sarah Palin has weighed in on the September 11 Benghazi attack through Facebook, an online venue where both former half-term governors and everyone else can air their opinions: …Why the dissembling about the cause of the murder of our ambassador on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil? We deserve answers to this. President Obama’s shuck and jive shtick with these Benghazi lies must end. Now the investigation can proceed. Or maybe we can spend a day talking about her. The Romney campaign must be thrilled.

SUFFIELD, Conn. — Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel was denied a bid for freedom Wednesday at his first parole hearing since he was convicted a decade ago of killing his neighbor in 1975. Skakel, who proclaimed his innocence at the hearing, nodded and patted his attorney on the back after the three-person parole board read the unanimous decision. He will next be eligible for parole in 2017. Skakel is serving 20 years to life for fatally beating Martha Moxley with a golf club in Greenwich when they were 15. Skakel is a nephew of Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert F. Kennedy.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pushed back Wednesday on the suggestion that Sept. 11 emails implicating an Al Qaeda-tied group in the Libya consulate attack were proof of terrorist involvement, saying their claims of responsibility on Facebook and Twitter were not "evidence." (snip) She suggested those producing the emails were "cherrypicking" documentation, as the White House noted the organization reportedly had denied responsibility in other settings. "I think within a few hours that organization itself claimed that it had not been responsible. Neither should be taken as fact," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said.

For days Donald Trump teased ahead to a big reveal about President Barack Obama, saying his announcement would be made with the best interest of the United States of America in mind. Basically, the announcement, made at noon, comes down to the birth certificate controversy and question of Obama’s college records. If Pres. Obama releases his college records and his passport records, then Trump says he will give a $5 million check to a charity. Trumps says he will release the check within an hour of receiving the records. The caveat, he says, is that they have to be submitted by Oct. 31.

MORRISON, Colo. —Colorado supporters showered Mitt Romney with a thunderous reception late Tuesday as the Republican presidential nominee visited the stunning Red Rocks Amphitheater, repeatedly making him have to pause and collect himself. "Boy, what a place this is. This is magnificent," Mr. Romney said, staring out at the amphitheater, built into canyon walls that reach up on either side of the audience, creating one of the most intimate and spectacular performance settings in the world. The setting seemed to overwhelm him. "This is a magnificent place for a guy born in Detroit to come here and look at

President Barack Obama vowed in an interview published Wednesday that, if re-elected, he will forge a "grand bargain" with Republicans to reduce America's debt and achieve comprehensive immigration—both in the first year of a second term. Obama's comments came in a telephone conversation with the editor and the publisher of the Des Moines Register. The newspaper published the exchange on its website. The conversation had initially been off-the-record, but the White House gave the daily permission to publish it after editor Rick Green penned an unusual public complaint. "It will probably be messy. It won't be pleasant.

Without comment, campaign officials for President Obama this morning released to the Des Moines Register a transcript of an interview he had Tuesday with Laura Hollingsworth, president and publisher of the Register, and Rick Green, editor/vice-president of news. Initially, the White House had asked that the conversation be considered off-the-record and its details not shared with readers. Its release comes on the heels of a Tuesday evening DesMoinesRegister.com blog post by Green questioning why an endorsement interview with the Register would be off-the-record. A decision on whether to unseal testimony by Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in the 1987 divorce proceedings of one of his closest friends has been postponed a day to allow the former Bay State governor and his attorneys to review the records. Celebrity feminist attorney Gloria Allred arrived this morning at a Norfolk court to back the unsealing of what she called two volumes of records in the case. “We believe the public has a right to know what Mitt Romney’s testimony was,” Allred told reporters outside Norfolk Probate & Family Court in Canton.

CLEMSON, S.C. — The president of Clemson University is chastising those who booed President Barack Obama during the college’s Military Appreciation Day at last weekend's game. The ceremony was disrupted by booing from some fans in the stands. If you’re President Obama, you know you pushed the sarcasm envelope at Monday night’s debate when even Rachel Maddow describes the way you spoke to Mitt Romney as being in “very, very overtly patronizing terms.” Maddow probably meant it as a compliment, but there have been plenty of other observers who were critical of the president’s use of Seinfeldian set-ups and snarky punch lines to score points about military spending and the state of U.S.-Russia relations. Time’s Mark Halperin described the president’s style as “belittling.” Mike Allen at Politico called it “snide derision.”

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — It’s a well-known fact in Pakistan that Osama bin Laden died in 2006 and that the U.S. commando raid on his compound in May 2011 was merely a “drama” orchestrated by President Obama to help win reelection. Of course, if that were true, Obama might have waited until after the first presidential debate of the campaign season to fake the al-Qaeda leader’s killing.
