Blacks should vote
God’s way — against Obama

Earlier this year, President Obama became the first president in American history to openly advocate for homosexual “marriage,” explicitly reversing his position from four years ago, when, at a forum in Saddleback Church in California, he stated his support for traditional marriage, saying that it was the biblical view he held. I, along with many others in the black community, was very disturbed. I wish I could say I was shocked, but I never believed his word at Saddleback Church. I had followed his history and record.

Obama plans Nov. 6 rally in Chicago

COLUMBUS, Ohio — President Barack Obama is planning an election-night rally in his hometown of Chicago at the giant McCormick Place convention center. From there, supporters will await the election results and prepare for a moment of celebration — or dejection. A person familiar with the plans says the decision is subject to change because no contract has yet been signed. The person familiar with the plans is not authorized to speak publicly about the arrangements and requested anonymity. Obama held an outdoor Election Day rally in 2008 in Chicago's Grant Park that attracted more than 200,000 people.

‘The Election Is Over’

The Left for months has been trying to convince the world (and perhaps themselves) that the election is already over. The not terribly prescient Cenk Uygur proclaimed “The Election Is Already Over” weeks ago. The hysterical ninnies at Salon proclaimed the Republican convention a “bust” and a “debacle” from which there would be no recovery, while the foresight-challenged American Prospect declared Florida all but lost to Romney, and his campaign effectively over: “I honestly doubt that Romney can recover from the damage of the last month,” Jamelle Bouie opined. “If he does

The National Rifle Association, jumping on President Obama's new and firm support for a Clinton-style assault weapons ban, is stepping up its attack on the president in Ohio, Virginia, Florida and Wisconsin with a new "we told you so" theme. David Keene, president of the NRA, told Secrets, "the president has ratified what we have been saying" in ads and mailings to pro-gun voters. "See, he peeked out and finally said what he wants," said Keene. In his 2008 campaign and while president, Obama has distanced himself from gun issues, aware that it could hurt

Former Florida Democratic Congressman Alan Grayson is leading by only three points in the latest St. Pete poll against Republican challenger Todd Long in Florida’s newly formed 9th Congressional District. According to StPetePolls.org, Grayson has 45 percent of the district’s support, while Long has 42.2 percent. Grayson was defeated after one term in 2010 by then Republican challenger (now Congressman) Daniel Webster in Florida’s 8th Congressional District. Grayson is not just facing a tight race but also an accusation from a former client, who filed a claim with the IRS charging Mr. Grayson with $2.1

There are more reports out England today that 14-year-old Taliban shooting victim Malala Yousufzai is responding well to treatment and has a good chance of fully recovering without any brain damage. Adam Elick of The New York Times reports on Facebook that she has come out of her coma (though she is not fully concious) and appears to have feelings in all her limbs, suggesting that she hasn't suffered any permanent physical damage as result of her attack. Malala was flown to the United Kingdom this weekend after having a bullet removed from her skull by doctors in Pakistan.

The best question at the second presidential debate came from Michael Jones, an African-American who said: “Mr. President, I voted for you in 2008. What have you done or accomplished to earn my vote in 2012? I’m not that optimistic, as I was in 2008. Most things I need for everyday living are very expensive.” To which Obama said: “Are you my half-brother?” Actually, all Obama could say was that he had ended the war in Iraq (while pointlessly escalating the war in Afghanistan) and that Osama bin Laden is dead (and so is our ambassador).

Federal authorities arrested a Bangladeshi national Wednesday morning for allegedly plotting to blow up a Federal Reserve Bank in New York City's lower Manhattan, mere blocks away from the site of the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2001. The bank is one of 12 branches around the country. One of the presidential debate questioners told Fox News that President Obama came up to him afterward to clarify why he took so long to say the Libya consulate attack was a terror strike. Kerry Ladka, one of the last questioners at Tuesday night's town hall-style debate, said, "He [Obama] said he really wanted to take the time to be deliberate, to make sure he had all the information." During the debate, Obama noted that he referred to "acts of terror" the day after the Libya attack. However, it took the president and his advisers more than a week

Manssor Arbabsiar, 58, admitted to plotting and agreeing to hire what he thought was a Mexican drug dealer last year for $1.5 million to carry out the attack with explosives at a Washington restaurant. Lebanese shi'ite Hezbollah, an ally with Iran, congratulated on Tuesday Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez for his reelection, positive that his victory is because of the "prestige of the Bolivarian revolution" and refusal of the "intervention and domination" policies. His (President Chávez's) word "is one of the rare ones that advocate the establishment of a fair, balanced world system." In a press release, the shi'ite group added that Chávez's reelection last October 7 is because of his "firm stance and the prestige of his Bolivarian revolution both at the regional and global levels."

One top female administrator whose résumé ended up in Mitt Romney’s “binders full of women” and was hired by the former Massachusetts governor said Wednesday that she wasn’t bothered by his comments during Tuesday’s debate on a question of equal pay. Ruth Bramson, former chief human resources director for Romney, said that she watched the debate and did not have a negative reaction to the “binders full of women” comment, which lit up Twitter and other social media.“Yes, I was a woman in the binders. I don’t think that’s true at all,” she told POLITICO about the critical reaction.

As Allahpundit notes, Major Garrett buries the lead in his race wrap-up. Get past a riff on four big issues that may impact the remaining three weeks of the campaign, and you come to this news nugget. It is uncharacteristic of Team Obama to concede any terrain, but Plouffe offered no such assurances about Obama’s position in North Carolina, Virginia, or Florida. Romney advisers have seen big gains in all three states and now consider wins likely, although not guaranteed, in all three. They are similarly upbeat about prospects in Colorado but not confident

A Bangladeshi man with alleged links to al-Qaeda has been arrested in New York on suspicion of plotting to blow up the city’s Federal Reserve building with a 1,000lb bomb. Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis, 21, allegedly travelled to the US in January “for the purposes of conducting a terrorist attack on US soil”. He was arrested in Manhattan after he tried to detonate a bomb less than a mile from the site of the Sept 11 attacks. Nafis was unaware that the bomb was actually provided as part of an FBI sting operation, according to New York prosecutors.

Many in the punditry need to re-visit the section of the debate last night between Romney and Obama addressing the Libya question. Too many are saying Romney flubbed it, his answer was flustered and a lost opportunity to strike back. This was not my first impression watching the debate so I went back and watched it again. After reviewing the footage I think many in the punditry missed what really happened. Obama finished his 2+ minute answer to the initial question with "You know that I mean what I say." Romney then gave his 2+ minute response

Cellphone video recorded earlier this year at an operations center of a U.S. security contractor in Kabul, Afghanistan appears to show key personnel staggeringly drunk or high on narcotics, in what former employees say was a pattern of outrageous behavior that put American lives at risk and went undetected by U.S. military officials who are supposed to oversee such contractors. HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. —Debbie Wasserman Schultz told The Daily Caller Tuesday evening that President Obama “clearly articulated” during the debate what his administration would do to prevent a repeat of the September 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya. “We were sitting around talking about Libya, and we were reading and became aware of reports that the State Department refused extra security for our embassy in Benghazi, Libya, prior to the attacks that killed four Americans. Who was it that denied enhanced security and why?” an audience member asked Obama during the debate.

The mainstream media has speculated that the religious right may not be enthusiastic about Mitt Romney’s candidacy, but Evangelicals and Catholics in swing states like Colorado and Iowa are enthused because of social and -- more importantly in 2012 -- economic issues, and these voters may help tip these states toward Romney. According to the Denver Post: In the most organized barrage made by so-called faith voters in a decade, evangelicals and Catholics are walking precincts, registering neighbors to vote and wedging Christian voter guides under windshield wipers in hopes of making President Barack Obama a one-term president.

Unfortunately, I missed the debate last night while flying from San Francisco to Nashville, but I do hope that Candy Crowley enjoyed her one — and only — debate-moderating opportunity. After she put her thumb on the scales so decisively on the Libya issue, no sentient Republican will ever agree to her as moderator again. Frankly, however, while “what did the administration know and when did it know it” is an important question to ask, it pales in comparison to the underlying failure that led to the attack. Put simply, the security withdrawal and attempted “normalization”

Using a clip of Mitt Romney's remarks during Tuesday night's presidential debate, a new Romney campaign ad argues that President Obama's policies have failed, specifically charging that Medicare and Social Security are "at risk" under Mr. Obama's leadership. A May study by the Maryland-based research firm Sentier Research did find that real median American income in March was down by $4,300 since January 2009, when Mr. Obama took office. And while the technical number of unemployed persons stands at 12.1 million, it's true there are about 23 million Americans looking for more work -- that is, they're only employed part-time
