Only three weeks away from the U.S. presidential elections facing off a tie between the two parties, unverified photographs of President Obama’s wedding band have been published online, claiming the ring to have the Islamic declaration of faith, known in Arabic as ‘Shahada.’ World Net Daily (WND), a conservative online news agency, initially reported on Wednesday that Obama’s wedding band has the inscription of the first part of the Islamic Shahada: “There is no other god but Allah.”

President Obama spent his valuable time this morning weighing in on the Nicki Minaj/Mariah Carey feud. No, I’m not making that up for the sake of a joke. It’s a real story. Earlier today, President Obama called into Y100s Michael YO! Show, where he weighed in on a very serious topic plaguing the pop world – the American Idol fight between judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. What better person to give their opinion on the American Idol spat, other than the top American himself. The president told Y100 that he believes that the

Former President Clinton has been working overtime to drag Barack Obama across the finish line in this year’s election. (snip) To save his political career, Obama would throw his own grandmother under the bus she supposedly rode to her job at the bank everyday because his grandfather thought it would be racist to give her a ride. And Biden’s 2016 presidential ambitions (no, I’m not joking) provide him with an extra incentive to see Hillary Clinton become the fall-gal for Benghazi. How is Bill Clinton taking this? According to author Ed Klein, he is not taking it lying down.

At least five Afghan security staff have been killed in suicide and roadside bomb attacks. At least three intelligence officers were killed by a suicide bomber outside an intelligence agency building in the southern province, Kandahar. Some reports said four Afghans were killed in the attack, as well as two members of the international coalition. In neighbouring Zabul province, a roadside bomb killed two policemen and wounded three others. In the Kandahar attack, a bomber, reportedly on foot, targeted Afghan intelligence agents and international staff at an entry checkpoint to the National Directorate of Security (NDS) in Maruf district.

Turns out it was a crappy idea. The principal of a Hell’s Kitchen HS that used to be among the most violent in the city had students using wooden toilet plungers as hall passes this school year. The half-baked scheme by the second-year principal at the HS of Graphic Communication Arts that placed 2-foot-long plungers in every classroom last month immediately plunged the school into chaos, a source said. “The kids were using the plungers to whack each other, to pop ceiling tiles in the bathroom,” the source said. “They were sticking it in the toilet and then flinging them

Former President Clinton has been working overtime to drag Barack Obama across the finish line in this year’s election. Clinton has been hands-down President Obama’s most effective advocate. His personal credibility may not be substantial, but unlike Obama, Clinton produced a non-disastrous presidency. Thus, his overall credibility vastly exceeds that of the current president. So how is Obama awarding Clinton for his heavy lifting? By throwing Clinton’s wife under the Benghazi bus, it appears. On Friday, White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters that responsibility for the consulate in Libya

It's being touted as the only way to avoid tuition increases this year at California's public universities, and if it passes, Cal State students could get a tuition rebate.

Cincinatti - With a sudden infusion of cash and a major investment of time, Mitt Romney has redoubled his efforts to win Ohio, trying to overcome President Obama's months-long lead in the crucial campaign battleground. Ohio has been on the winning side of every presidential election since 1964, largely for the same reason that consumer-products companies like to use the state as a test market — it closely resembles the nation in miniature. But the resemblance is not perfect; the state has leaned just slightly more Republican than the country as a whole, meaning that a GOP nominee who cannot

For months, Mitt Romney has been attempting to convince voters he is the adult needed to clean up the mess President Obama has made of the economy. On October 3rd, Mitt Romney gave an epic performance at the first presidential debate in Denver. According to Gallup, Americans, by a 52-point margin--the most ever recorded--said Romney won the debate against Obama. In the aftermath, Romney has taken a steady lead in most national and state polls. There is no need to dissect here the details of the debate or the candidates' performance. More interesting to me is what didn't happen after the debate. There wasn't the usual push-back from the Obama campaign. This is highly unusual. An extraordinary political earthquake struck America this week. Mitt Romney, widely assumed to be the ‘best of a weak bunch’ of Republican candidates, suddenly overtook Barack Obama in election polls. Remarkably for someone with a reputation as Mr Dullard, it was his brilliant performance on October 3 at the first of three presidential debates, where he scored the biggest win ever over an oddly downcast Obama, that propelled him into the favourite’s chair. Should Romney now win on November 6, America will not only have replaced its first black President with its first Mormon President.

The beginning of congressional hearings on the Benghazi debacle revealed an administration with much to explain and perhaps something to hide. It was followed by a failure of candor.(Snip) It is impossible for me to imagine U.N.
