Smartphones and digital technology are supposed to make our lives easier, but for young adults, it seems that things may only be getting tougher — and for a slew of reasons. According to one recent survey, about 3 out of 5 millennials (58%) feel life is more stressful right now than ever before. In fact, the survey of 2,000 American millennials, commissioned by CBD oil company Endoca, reveals that one-third of millennials believe their lives are more stressful than the average person’s life. The survey also pointed to numerous causes of the frustration for this young segment.

The Jew Who Died for Ilhan Omar

Rep. Ilhan Omar, a freshman Democrat from Minnesota, has become widely known for her attacks on supporters of Israel. Ms. Omar is a naturalized citizen whose Somali refugee family settled in the U.S. when she was a teenager. Tens of thousands of Somali refugees relocated to the U.S.—some 25,000 in the Minneapolis area—to escape the starvation, famine and civil war that turned Somalia into a lawless, failed state in the early 1990s. Another name is worth recognition and remembrance, especially among Somali refugees: Lawrence Freedman.

How House Democrats pulled a bait and

One of the more striking characteristics of modern American politics is the irresponsible willingness of inattentive voters to be played over and over again by both major political parties. Very few citizens seem willing these days to take responsibility for their actions or inactions. So, instead of confronting their own ignorance, voters automatically blame politicians for being two-faced. Then, these same voters overwhelmingly return their political incumbents to office. Small wonder then, there’s small change in Washington. And large frustration outside. Because bait and switch routinely works so well, both parties

Ten legit public policy questions

Every American citizen has the right to ask public policy questions from his lawmakers in the public sphere. Lawmakers also have the right to answer or refuse. Ms. Ilhan Omar is not an exception because she is a Muslim. Our Congress is not a safe zone for Muslims or any other group. Here are my ten questions: 1. Why don´t you defend the rights of Muslim women in Somalia and other Muslim-majority countries? 2. Why don´t you talk about the violation of women´s rights by enforcing sharia in some Muslim nations?

When the newly elected Rep. Ilhan Omar kicked off her acceptance speech with “As-Salaam-Alaikum,” I felt a space of belonging. There was a feeling that American Muslims had arrived—but what arrived with them, and which version of Islam was going to be represented through her and fellow Muslim freshman Rep. Rashida Tlaib? As-Salaam-Alaikum means “peace be with you,” but how Omar has carried herself in the weeks that followed has been anything put peaceful. Here’s a quick rundown of her recent actions. Omar accused American Jews of holding dual loyalty toward Israel. However, there was no word

What Democrats Need to Know

KNOXVILLE, Iowa — It’s caucus season here in Iowa, and Democratic presidential candidates are swarming the place like flies at a cattle barn. We’ve talked policy with Amy Klobuchar and Kirsten Gillibrand over beers, and watched Kamala Harris work the crowd at a bar in Indianola. We’ve been in what once would have been “smoke-filled rooms” with Steve Bullock and Cory Booker. We’ve been stuffed into what seemed like enormous mosh pits oozing with adoring fans of Elizabeth Warren. The Iowa caucus offers Democrats an opportunity to hone their pitch to rural America.

As a federal prosecutor in South Florida, Alex Acosta, now the Secretary of Labor, gave pedophile Jeffrey Epstein the “deal of a lifetime.” A federal investigation had revealed dozens of underage victims of Epstein. Yet, through a plea agreement with then-U.S. Attorney Acosta, Epstein managed to plead to only two state prostitution charges, and only one involving a minor. Consequently, Epstein served just 13 months in state prison. He was housed in a private wing at the Palm Beach County jail and allowed work release privileges. Epstein’s year of “incarceration” reportedly included trips to New York and the Virgin Islands.

The unbearable lightness of Beto

Beto O’Rourke is the Democratic front-runner today because he stands for nothing. In the first 24 hours of his presidential race, the former congressman from El Paso raised $6.1 million. That’s a record haul, and to date, it is the most meaningful objective measure of support in the crowded Democratic primary field. Polls this early measure only name recognition. Beto is the front-runner. The question is why. The answer is bleak. The other Democratic candidates have either accomplishments or ideas to point to. Joe Biden was the vice president and played a large (if baneful) role in the Senate for decades,

´Impossible´ Rocks Found

On a tiny island between Madagascar and the east coast of Africa, scientists have discovered a mother lode of rocks that shouldn´t be there. The island is made from igneous, volcanic rock that hails from the oceanic crust. But the mystery rocks come from continental crust — more specifically, from a river delta or beach. "It doesn´t look like anything that could have formed on an island like that," said Cornelia Class, a geochemist at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory at Columbia University. Funded by a National Geographic Society grant, Class recently led a scientific expedition to the island,

New York- I might be slightly less hostile to the Green New Deal, had I not walked home the other Sunday in a hail storm. Even before the BB-sized bits of ice came shooting down from the heavens that morning, this winter has been brutal, from Gotham to the Golden Gate. Our Lady of Perpetual Limelight, Saint Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, demands that America battle so-called “deadly, manmade global warming” as if it were Nazi Germany. Ten-year cost: $93 trillion. But this supposed threat somehow seems less menacing than Adolf Hitler and the Wehrmacht.Any given winter does not equal “climate.”

She has been there ever since. “We need to violate the law in order to do the right thing, and the right thing for me is to be a mother,” Ortega told NBC News earlier this month. “They’re laws created by men

According to Mexican federal and state authorities, gunmen for Hector Raul “El Tory” Luna Luna were linked to numerous mutilations and other high-impact crimes throughout Nuevo Leon. El Tory recently assumed control of CDN after an early release from a federal prison. The cartel boss was originally imprisoned for drug trafficking and a 2008 grenade attack on the U.S. Consulate in Monterrey.

Without exception, the mainstream media gave top billing to the shootings, with newspapers carrying the story on their front pages

Since the beginning of the Obama presidency, the increasingly powerful far Left has set out to follow his call to “remake America.” This ambitious effort goes far beyond Obamacare. The far Left is seeking expansion of the administrative state, higher taxes, increases in regulations and more social programs funded with more taxpayer dollars. The transformation indisputably starts at the ballot box. Americans would do well to realize that significant changes to the way we vote are the lynchpin of a larger strategy to elect more Democrats who will push America further leftward. This is a four-alarm freedom emergency. The agenda to
