California church draws backlash for calling

A Northern California church sparked outrage over a sign that read: “Bruce Jenner is still a man. Homosexuality is still sin. The culture may change. The Bible does not.” Caitlyn Jenner is formerly known as Bruce and revealed in 2015 that she is transgender and has become a woman. The church, Trinity Bible Presbyterian Church, is located in Lake Shastina, Calif., which is about an hours’ drive from the Oregon border. Protesters gathered in front of the church on Sunday to denounce what they called “hate and slander” and to “show our love and support for the LGBT community,”

Fake News: CNN rejects

CNN is ´news, corrupted.´ Seriously, they are rejecting actual news because it doesn´t support their manufactured "narrative," turning down a report they themselves commissioned from local station KUSI because they didn´t like the facts-on-the-ground the report contained. Or, more likely, the bigger fact on the ground that the local report supports the stance of a president who says and shows by numbers that there really is a crisis at our border. The network President Trump calls ´fake news´ can´t let that San Diego report get out. Here´s the top story today on The Hill: "Thursday morning, CNN called the KUSI

The televised presidential address from the Oval Office, a staple of communication between the chief executive and the people in the second half of 20th century, has recently been in desuetude. Former President Barack Obama delivered only three such addresses in his eight years in office. President Donald Trump this week delivered his first one, just days short of completing half his term. It was a sober address, short but touching some emotive chords, carefully based on facts and proposals -- contrary to the Democrats´ meme that it would be based on fears, not facts.

In the historic annals of linguistic evisceration, the speech delivered today by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Cairo, Egypt, will long be remembered. Standing in the venue of the American University in Cairo, the exact location used by former President Barack Obama in 2009, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo absolutely shredded the prior administration’s mid-east policy with a comprehensive and complete rebuke of the former President.Understanding how Egypt was ground-zero for the destructive policies of the Obama administration and the rise of radical Islamic extremism via the Muslim Brotherhood;

KUSI News, a television news outlet based in San Diego, California, said Thursday that CNN invited — and subsequently rescinded the invitation — for it to provide a reporter to give “a local view of the debate surrounding the border wall and government shutdown.” The San Diego-based outfit speculated on CNN’s rationale for the decision: We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work. We have continuously been told by Border Patrol Agents that the barrier along the Southern border

There are few offenses more heinous than those that are sexual in nature. In the #MeToo era, it certainly has become clear that sexual abuse, from harassment to rape, has been rampant in America. Just look at Hollywood and the horrifying acts allegedly committed by once renowned, now disgraced, producer Harvey Weinstein. Many other males figures in the spotlight have been accused of years of sexual abuse by coworkers and colleagues. But make no mistake, sexual abuse, unfortunately, is pervasive in all echelons of society

Twenty-one bodies, some burned, have been found in the northern Mexico near the Texas border in what appears to have been a clash between drug gangs. The horrifying scene was discovered near the border town of Miguel Aleman in Tamaulipas on Wednesday. Graphic photographs show the bodies scattered in and around several charred vehicles. President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said the killings appear to have been part of a dispute between gangs. He said details would be released once all the information was gathered. A Tamaulipas state official who was not authorized to be quoted by name told the Associated

Three reputed MS-13 gang members have been busted in a bat-and-knife attack on a group of teens outside a Long Island burger joint, authorities announced Thursday. Ramon Aravelo-Lopez, 19, Oscar Canales-Molina, 17, and Nobel Montes-Zuniga, 20, are accused of jumping the Huntington Station teens in the parking lot of a Burger King as they were walking out on Wednesday, said Suffolk County DA Timothy Sini. Inside the eatery, “the teens noticed a group of approximately six Hispanic males who they recognized from school, including the three defendants, staring at them in a menacing way,” Sini said.

As the government shutdown took its toll, Washington DC assumed the unfamiliar aspect of a city going through hard times. “It’s like a ghost city — totally dead. ... When other parts of the country suffered during the Great Recession, the area around the nation’s capital boomed.” But now the shoe is on the other foot. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is already making enemies in the House Democratic Caucus — and some of its members are mounting an operation to bring the anti-establishment, democratic socialist with 2.2 million Twitter followers into the fold. The effort, described by nearly 20 lawmakers and aides, is part carrot, part stick: Some lawmakers with ties to Ocasio-Cortez are hoping to coax her into using her star power to unite Democrats and turn her fire on Republicans. Others simultaneously warn Ocasio-Cortez is destined for a lonely, ineffectual career in Congress if she continues to treat her own party as the enemy.

This weekend the federal shutdown becomes the longest in history—and yet, and yet, the sky has not fallen. Meet the team that has allowed the Trump White House to hold out for so long, and in the process forever altered future shutdown fights. Across the street from the Oval Office, an only somewhat merry band of budget lawyers labor on one priority: making this event as painless as possible. That was the order from President Trump when the government closed, and the Office of Management and Budget was ready. Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney

Illegal Immigration: Democrats and the mainstream press accuse President Donald Trump of manufacturing a crisis at the border. The numbers tell another story. As soon as the words "growing humanitarian and security crisis at our Southern border" left Trump´s lips in his Oval Office address this week, Democrats and media "fact-checkers" were trying to dispel it as a deliberate lie. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Trump "must stop manufacturing a crisis, and must reopen the government."

According to an article in the New York Post, in his recent government shutdown meeting with congressional leaders, President Trump plied the likes of sourpuss House speaker Nancy Pelosi and pickle-faced Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer with sweets. Vice President Mike Pence commended the president for his sugary savoir-faire when he informed the media that, contrary to Democrat comments stating otherwise, "[t]he president walked into the room and passed out candy." Frankly, Trump shouldn´t have bothered, because no amount of sugar could sweeten up the two corpses who rose from the dead to attend a meeting, partake of the freebies, and

In a lengthy editor’s note added Thursday to an updated version of the Dec. 18 story, Agenda said it stood by its reporters, Stephanie Forshee and Jennifer Williams-Alvarez, but had decided to yank all the quotes from the disputed interview anyway.

Amid yet another advertiser boycott pushed by left-wing groups against a Fox News host, Tucker Carlson has seen several companies pull their ads from "Tucker Carlson Tonight" after he described the unregulated influx of low-skilled immigrants as making America "poorer and dirtier." Speaking of unregulated immigration of those without a college education into the country, Carlson said, "Nobody even tries to defend it. Instead, our leaders demand that you shut up and accept it. We have a moral obligation to admit the world’s poor, they tell us, even if it makes our own country poor and dirtier and more divided."

First, the takeover of the House of Representatives by the Democrats was, on balance, not as jarring to the vital organs as was feared. (Snip)A second source of happiness, despite the Democrats’ window-rattling ululations of joy, is that they have no mandate to do anything, and they have taken the bait the president dangled to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Pelosi at the White House three weeks ago.

Not all ghouls live in the graveyard. Justice Ginsburg missed oral arguments at the court this week for the first time in the 25 years she has been on the court, and that put the politicians, pundits and a considerable portion of the left into a lather of speculation, none of it idle.
