The attorney generalship of Jeff Sessions was over before it began when he foolishly recused himself from the Russian probe. This allowed Deep Stater Rod Rosenstein to appoint a special counsel. Sessions got played. He traded two small dimes for that big nickel. His mistake was colossal because it allowed Democrats to strong arm the new administration with a special counsel.(Tweets)Bully Boy Mueller´s mission was threefold. 1. Mueller had to cover up Obama spying on political opponents. 2. Mueller had to spy on President Trump using the investigation as an excuse to seize the records of Trump´s lawyer.

Springfield, Mo. – A man who federal authorities believe is in the U.S. illegally has been charged in the fatal shooting of two former roommates and a woman whose home he moved into after his first victims threw him out, police in southwestern Missouri said. A second man has been charged as an accomplice. Police said in charging documents that Luis Perez opened fire on Steven Marler, 38, and Aaron Hampton, 23, at their home in Springfield on Nov. 1. Two other people were wounded but survived. Perez then shot and killed Sabrina Starr, 21, a day later at her house,

With the U.S. Senate seat hanging in the balance, the Yuma, Navajo, Apache and Maricopa County Republican parties filed a lawsuit against all Arizona county recorders and the Secretary of State late Wednesday. A telephone hearing was scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court. The Republican groups are challenging the way counties verify signatures on mail-in ballots that are dropped off at the polls on Election Day, according to the complaint obtained by The Arizona Republic.

There is a widespread belief that Hollywood is only interested in making money, and it is far too simplistic a view. There is something they value much more than money - and that is ideology. And not just any ideology. The entertainment industry has been liberal for a long time, but in recent years it has become increasingly and stridently intolerant. Trump’s election seems to have tipped them over the line into insanity. Virtually every day reveals a new celebrity tweeting, speaking, producing or starring in something that is finally going to expose just how awful POTUS is and promote

Democrat socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was still celebrating her victory in New York’s 14th Congressional District Tuesday night when she was asked her thoughts on becoming speaker in the Democratic-controlled House. The 29-year-old laughed, and told Amy Goodman of the left-wing news program Democracy Now, “I mean, I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew.” Goodman had asked Ocasio-Cortez her stance on Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) returning as House speaker.“Who do you think needs to lead the House?,” she asked. “And would you consider the possibility of being the speaker … yourself?” “I mean, I don’t want to bite

Team Trump is considering Chris Christie to replace fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions — and the former New Jersey governor was at the White House on Thursday morning, according to multiple reports. President Trump canned Sessions on Wednesday after spending months pillorying him for recusing himself from the Justice Department’s probe of Russian election meddling and possible collusion with the president’s campaign. Christie was axed as the head of Trump’s transition team, reportedly at the behest of Jared Kushner, whose father, Charles, spent time in a federal pen after he was prosecuted on tax evasion

Twenty-eight-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pulled off an amazing feat. No, not emerging victorious in her candidacy to represent New York’s 14th District in Congress, an area that favors Democrats by almost 30 points. Ocasio-Cortez’s real accomplishment was how she managed to navigate several months of intense media scrutiny without ever formulating a coherent response to the many interviewers who asked her how she intends to bridge the financial gap between her hopes and dreams and their 13-figure price tags. In this high-wire act, she had the help of some willing accomplices in the press.

President Trump´s new attorney general will enforce the law. Washington is shocked. In July 2016, he took Jimmy the Weasel to task in a column for USA Today, headlined, "I would indict Hillary Clinton." The new general, Matthew Whitaker, wrote, "According to FBI Director James Comey’s statement on Tuesday, former secretary of State Hillary Clinton could have been charged with violating several different code sections, and he detailed the evidence that supports bringing criminal charges. "Yet, Director Comey’s judgment was that ´no reasonable prosecutor´ would bring the case. I disagree.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) said Thursday that the U.S. is on the "verge" of a constitutional crisis because of the forced resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions. "I think it’s a big mistake to let Sessions go," Manchin, who was the only Democratic senator to vote to confirm the former attorney general, said on "CBS This Morning." He added that the U.S. is on the verge of a crisis because of the potential ramifications his ouster could have on special counsel Robert Mueller´s investigation into Russian election interference. His comments came just a day after Sessions formally resigned from his role at the

Is Matthew Whitaker a placeholder who can manage Special Counsel Robert Mueller until President Trump decides on a permanent successor for ousted Attorney General Jeff Sessions? It’s possible, but it’s also conceivable that Mr. Whitaker’s temporary gig as acting attorney general is an audition for the job. Feeling like he’s been burned once, and then saddled for the better part of two years with an AG he could no longer abide, the president may want a trial run before he settles on a “permanent” replacement. (I use scare-quotes because what, these days, is permanent?)

It was not the best of times, nor was it the worst of times. Tuesday’s epic nothingburger of an off-year election was like Game Three of any given World Series, worth spilling oceans of ink over by paid-shill sportswriters eager to exhibit their chicken-entrail-reading skills, only to have their prognosticative prose instantly rendered fishwrap and birdcage lining by events the next day. So let’s all take a deep breath and, with the benefit of 20-20 hindsight, reflect upon the epochal results of Midterm 2018. Jeff Sessions was fired. Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, the play was a snooze.

Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates easily qualify as part of America’s 1 percent and while it may seem like a pipe dream, reaching the milestone globally isn’t that far of a stretch. Credit Suisse Research Institute’s 2018 Global Wealth Report found that to be among the global top 10 percent, you don’t even need six figures. A net worth of $93,170 in the U.S. is actually enough to make you richer than 90 percent of the population around the world. However, to join the global one percent in America, it takes a net worth of $871,320. The institute

CNN journalist Jim Acosta has received messages of support from around the world after Donald Trump banned him from attending White House briefings. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders earlier claimed Mr Acosta had “placed his hands on” a female aide trying to retrieve a microphone at the request of the president as the pair clashed during a news conference. Footage of the incident shows Mr Acosta apparently brushing the woman’s arm as she reaches for the microphone and he tries to hold onto it. “Pardon me, ma’am,” he says. The First World War ended 100 years ago this month on November 11, 1918, at 11 a.m. Nearly 20 million people had perished since the war began on July 28, 1914. In early 1918, it looked as if the Central Powers—Austria-Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire—would win. Czarist Russia gave up in December 1917. Tens of thousands of German and Austrian soldiers were freed to redeploy to the Western Front and finish off the exhausted French and British armies. The late-entering United States did not declare war on Germany and Austria-Hungary until April 1917. Six months later, America had

The weeks ahead will provide ample time for analysis, blame, excuses, and predictions. On the morning after, here are some optimistic thoughts, at least from a Trump supporter, looking through the purple haze for a silver lining. Looking at the House, it could have been far worse. Democrats, at the latest count, gained 27 seats, enough to hand the speaker’s gavel to Nancy Pelosi. How much worse could it

It would be another 30 months before he´d know it, but Andrew Gillum´s campaign for Florida governor was over before it even began, killed in the spring of 2016 by poisoned filet mignon, twice-baked sweet potatoes and Southern-style strawberry shortcake. In the two-story All Saints apartment of Tallahassee lobbyist Adam Corey, Gillum, the mayor of the city, welcomed a few dozen consultants, businessmen and supporters to the first fundraiser for a political committee that would go on to fuel his as-yet announced statewide run. The $37,400 haul was modest, all things considered. People who attended barely remember the scene.
