The New York Times reported Monday night that, during her tenure at the State Department, Hillary Clinton never used her official email account to conduct communications, relying instead on a private email account. As the Times notes, only official accounts are automatically retained under the Federal Records Act, meaning that none of Clinton´s email communication was preserved. In March 2013, an adviser to Clinton, Sidney Blumenthal, had his email hacked by "Guccifer" -- the Romanian hacker perhaps best known for revealing George W. Bush´s paintings to the world. At the time, Gawker reported that Blumenthal was communicating with an account

In response to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu´s opposition to the nuclear deal he warns threatens Israel´s very existence, US President Barack Obama´s administration has reportedly cut American intelligence cooperation with Israel. A report on Monday night by the Hebrew-language Channel 10, notes that the cooperation between Israeli and American intelligence agencies until now has aided the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in formulating reports on Iran´s nuclear program, reports that advanced the sanctions against the Islamic regime. At the moment, while Israel is cooperating with various countries in terms of intelligence on Iran´s nuclear program, the cooperation with the United States has

The White House said Monday that President Obama believes a ban on bullets commonly used with the AR-15 rifle will save police officers’ lives. “We are looking at additional ways to protect our brave men and women in law enforcement, and believe that this process is valuable for that reason alone,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is accepting public comment on an administration proposal to ban .223 M855 “green tip” ammunition most often used with AR-15 rifles. House lawmakers from both parties, as well as sportsmen and some law enforcement officials, are

A month ago, I referred to Barack Obama as “quite simply, anti-Israel.” Events in the last month have only confirmed that judgment. There are many arguments one could marshall to support that assertion, but it strikes me that among the most compelling is this: Mr. Obama has more anger toward Israel and its prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, than he has toward any other regime in the world–including the most oppressive ones. He has treated the prime minister of the Jewish state with more disrespect and pettiness than any other world leader–including the most brutal ones. The time and energy that President

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Monday that he does not believe President Barack Obama will watch Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s entire speech to Congress tomorrow. “I haven’t looked at the president’s schedule for tomorrow,” Earnest said. “I doubt that he will spend his whole time watching the speech.” The relationship between the White House and the Israeli government has been tense since Netanyahu’s decision to schedule the speech to Congress without first consulting the executive branch. On Monday, Netanyahu told the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee that he intended no “disrespect” to the U.S. president in coming

Everyone following the political dynamics of this administration knows their ‘poker tell’, it’s brutally obvious. This administration shows their fear with the sheer rabidity of what they proclaim not to be doing. Today the White House, and every single senior official, is publically shouting about President Obama NOT going to watch the Benjamin Netanyahu speech to congress. A brutally transparent falsehood identified easily by the scope of the public protestations therein. In order to fully understand what is at stake one only needs to accept the empirical reality that “control is a reaction to fear”. The absence of control breeds a fear
