White House going nuclear on Netanyahu

Thou shall not cross Dear Leader. With their gutter sniping failing to stop Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s planned March speech before Congress, White House aides are unloading their full arsenal of bile. “He spat in our face publicly, and that’s no way to behave,” one Obama aide told an Israeli newspaper. “Netanyahu ought to remember that President Obama has a year and a half left to his presidency, and that there will be a price.” It is pointless to say petty threats do not become the Oval Office. Trying to instruct this White House on manners recalls what Mark Twain said about trying

Most Americans are familiar with the prestige that surrounds the United States military service academies. Various names and phrases, spoken like solemn incantations, attest to their sacrosanct status: the Point, the Long Gray Line, Annapolis, cadets. Their graduates constitute a who’s who of American greatness, including Ulysses Grant, Jimmy Carter, novelist James Salter and sci-fi writer Robert Heinlein, to name a few. Gen. Douglas MacArthur, in a 1962 address at West Point, typified the veneration when he told the cadets that they were “the leaven which binds together the entire fabric of our national system of defense.” The service academies

It would be hard to overstate how poorly things are going for the United States around the world. Iran moves steadily toward acquiring nuclear weapons, with the apparent approval of the Obama administration. Iraq, once hailed as one of the Obama administration’s greatest successes by Joe Biden, is now largely occupied by ISIS. The carnage in Syria continues. The government of Yemen, a key ally in the war against Islamic terror, has fallen. In Nigeria, Boko Haram slaughters thousands and now controls much of Africa’s richest country. And Russia continues to chip away at Ukraine. Let’s pause on this one for

U.S. President Barack Obama has been accused of being disrespectful, after being caught chewing gum during the Republic Day parade in India. A photo of the president removing the gum from his mouth before popping it back in, has been shared across Twitter. At the time, Indian Prime Minister Nardndra Modi appears to be trying to explain something to the president. Twitter user Shobhaa De wrote: ´Barack bahi working his jaws overtime and chewing gum! At least it´s isn´t gutka. But seriously - gum during a formal parade?´ American media have said Obama was most probably chewing Nicorette.

Fox News, a usually staunch supporter of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, changed its tone on Friday when anchor Chris Wallace and host Shepard Smith expressed harsh criticism of the prime minister´s decision to speak before the US Congress in March, without the prior arrangement of the White House and just a couple of weeks before the Israeli election. House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner extended the invitation to Netanyahu on Wednesday and the Prime Minister´s speech on Capitol Hill is expected to focus on the need for increased sanctions against Iran, as well as on Islamist extremism.

Get ready to hibernate because New York City can potentially get hit by a "historic blizzard" this week. (Snip) When a blizzard hits it is important to stay warm with a reliable heat source, stock up on food and water, have backup lighting and wear the appropriate clothing if you must go outside. However, if you are expecting to stay inside, here are few things you may want to consider doing so you get the best out of your blizzard days. These are things you should do: Make sure you´re technology ready. If you have power inside your house or
