It appears Tom Hanks and Oprah are unavailable and so, speaking to a small group of reporters tonight, Vice-President Jo Biden announced that he is going to run for President in 2020. Despite formally announcing in October 2015 that "the window had closed on mountaing a realistic campaign for president," CNBC reports that Biden said "Yeah, I am. I am going to run in 2020," when asked if he would run for office again. When asked what role he would run for, the 74-year-old vice president responded: "For president. And also, you know so, what the hell man, anyway." The

Clinton ally and liberal Super PAC operator David Brock told reporters Tuesday that he plans to create a new outlet designed to serve as a counterpoint to alt-right website Breitbart. Brock purchased liberal website BlueNationReview in 2015, rebranding it in 2016 as “ShareBlue.” ShareBlue, he said Tuesday, would be the “Breitbart of the left…” so long as the financial contributions kept pouring. Brock also confirmed earlier reports that he plan to shift the focus of Media Matters for America away from Fox News and more towards attacking the alt-right and fake news. “A lot of garbage came spewing out of Facebook, and

Michelle Obama blended into the halls of the White House with an off-the-shoulder gown that bore a striking resemblance to the Christmas trees adorned with tinsel and metallic ornaments. The First Lady joined President Barack Obama for their final Kennedy Center Honors gala on Sunday night, wearing the custom pink and green brocade gown with a beaded bow at the waist. Michelle, who is known for sending a diplomatic message with her sartorial choices, opted for the Italian brand Gucci the same night the Mediterranean country held a referendum on constitutional reforms. Ivanka Trump got former Vice President Al Gore inside Trump Tower to talk about global warming with President-elect Trump. If she uses her role as first daughter to serve as an informal climate change czar, her success could end there. The eldest Trump daughter is close to her father. But she is not a Republican and is less conservative than her brothers Eric and Donald Jr. Ivanka benefits the most from the Trump family brand being about wealth and glamor, the least from its association with right-wing politics. It´s nevertheless been reported that Ivanka wishes to assume the bully pulpit
