Indiana Primary Will Decide Obamacare’s Fate

Indiana’s Republican primary is not merely the Cruz campaign’s last chance to stop the Trump juggernaut, it will also determine the ultimate fate of Obamacare. If Trump wins Indiana tomorrow, he will almost certainly win the Republican presidential nomination only to lose the general election to Hillary Clinton, who is committed to preserving the unpopular law. Even if Trump manages to eke out a win in November, he will probably be hobbled by a Democrat-controlled Senate that will kill any Obamacare repeal bill. A vote for Trump in the Hoosier State tomorrow, in other words, is a vote for Obamacare. And

After months of speculation about which college Malia Obama will attend after graduating the elite Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. this year, the White House announced Sunday that the Obama family had picked Harvard University. The 17-year-old Malia won’t embark on her college career until fall 2017, though, electing to take a “gap year” between the two phases of her life. (Snip) Whatever she decides to do with her year off, Malia’s decision brings attention to a year of growth and development between high school and college that some educators and schools strongly endorse, especially since today’s students face

Ted Cruz Campaign Staffers Are

The endgame of the 2016 primary campaign looms out west in California, the final big state on which the remaining presidential candidates are pinning their hopes. But to get there, they´ll first have to make it through Indiana, where things aren’t looking so good for Ted Cruz. The Texas senator is pretty nearly finished if he cannot beat Donald Trump in the winner-take-all Hoosier state, whose delegates could easily set the Republican front-runner on a glide path to clinch the nomination. Cruz has been talking confidently about winning Indiana and ultimately denying Trump the delegates he needs to win a

CNN racked up another major rating victory in April, posting the top ratings for cable news in prime time. CNN, however, scored a 111-percent increase in viewers from April 2015 to April 2016. “Anecdotal evidence suggests a growing number of Fox viewers have been angered at the cable outlet’s perceived move to the left the last couple years, as well as its frequent criticisms of Republican presidential primary front-runner Donald Trump,” wrote Cheryl Chumley on WND. “(Megyn) Kelly, for example, came under public fire for her questioning of Trump during an August debate on Fox about his past treatment of women, and

Malia Obama will take a gap year after graduating from high school and then attend Harvard University in the fall of 2017, the White House said Sunday, ending speculation at campuses across the country. Obama, 17, the older of the president’s two daughters, visited more than a dozen schools, including Stanford, Yale and Columbia, before making her decision. The White House did not say what she would spend her gap year doing.

As long as we are on the subject of “New York values”, let is consider the New York lawsuit against one Donald J. Trump and his “university” which alleges that Trump defrauded thousands of students who spent tens of thousands hoping they could benefit from his professed business acumen. The case has been woefully under-covered by a largely Trump-leaning media, but it could soon be as important to Trump as the FBI investigation of Hillary Clinton’s emails and server could be to the former First Lady. As Fox News reported on April. 26, the case is going to trial, likely in

Barack Obama doesn´t believe Donald Trump has what it takes to be the next president - or to defeat a Democratic opponent. The president told WMUR what he really thought about the GOP frontrunner during an interview at the White House on Monday. ´I think that he is not somebody who even within the Republican Party can be considered as equipped to deal with the problems of this office, but look, we live in a democracy,´ Obama said. ´If in fact the Republicans nominate Mr. Trump, then it´s going to be an interesting fall season,´ he added. ´I´m confident that
