Fox News host Tucker Carlson has claimed that President Joe Biden takes 'pills' to boost his cognitive performance before public appearances. Biden, 79, has strenuously rejected similar allegations in the past, but Carlson claimed on his Friday evening show that he had spoken 'directly' to a witness who saw the alleged medication on the 2020 campaign trail. 'His staff, supervised by Dr. Jill, his wife, was giving him pills before every public appearance. Checking the time, and at the certain hour giving him a dose of something,' said Carlson. 'Before taking the medications, this person said Biden was 'Like a small child.' You could not communicate with him,

Dr. Jill channeling her best Edith Wilson. Practicing to take over when FJB finally strokes out or can't recover from his next "brain freeze" ice cream cone. Oh, wait. He has no brain. Guess she could be Dorothy and play off his Scarecrow. My mother and grandmother both suffered from Alzheimer's/dementia. My mother did receive mediation that could temporarily help her be more in touch with reality. Then there is the "Sundowner's Syndrome". FJB is not right in the head. He needs to be in his Delaware basement, enjoying his grandchildren, watching "Murder She Wrote", eating ice cream and napping. Not being the national security threat that he actually is. I don't know if Tucker is correct about the medication angle. But he is correct when he says that he is not all there.

He's clearly been taking something to pump him up since the campaign, during which he seemed to have one foot in the grave during those rare public appearances as Election Day neared. Or maybe I've simply grown numb to it all and that near-catatonic state that once shocked me has become acceptably normal.

Alzheimer’s is a progressive disease. It was one of the factors in my father’s death. Stress can be the catalyst for a quicker progression and it comes in a myriad of ways depending on the patient. Biden definitely exhibits the typical symptoms in public. I can’t imagine his behavior in private. It is due to the advancements in medications that he is able to function at the level he does. I suspect he is reaching the limit of their efficacy and it is beginning to show. Democrats would probably stick with him but they realize he is deteriorating so they must get rid of him. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. They will do whatever is best for their prospects in 2024. They are ruthless in that way. Expect anything because they believe fervently that the end justifies the means. He is a dead man walking, and Dr. Jill had better hope she is not part of their solution.

In the military, if you have to use any psychiatric drug, your security clearance is temporarily suspended until your treatment ends. If Biden is using drugs, he is clearly violating security policy not to mention unfit to control NUCLEAR codes. Who is our President right now? It’s clearly not Biden or Harris for that matter. We’re being run by a proxy government of unknown composition and location. We’re a runaway train.

Anyone can see that, at scheduled events when he speaks, he's most lucid at the very beginning.. Obviously, he's on something. Someone should ask his press secretary about it; I'm sure she can explain it. / s

Pretty soon, Lame Duck Joe will run out of brain cells to stimulate with pills. Then what? The minions behind the curtains better have a plan. KDH is not the answer, neither is Butt Pete. Dr Jill is stuck on breakfast Hispanics.

Two years ago it was pills. By now it’s most likely syringes and IVs. Not too far down the road he’ll be pushing one of those IV poles around with him in public.

Why do they keep referring to the first female moron as a Dr as if in a medical context. She is a Doctor of Dreck.

If Biden acted "like a child" it would be an improvement. The person we see in front of the teleprompter is mean, vindictive, confused and a flaming pervert. If not for the stolen election we would not be hearing about this imbecile every day.

In the past I always felt secure our military was able to handle a serious threat when a president went off the rails. But the two treasonous thugs in charge, Milley and Austin are as incapable and corrupt as Biden.

In a conversation with my family physician, I asked him what kind of medication a dementia patient could take to perk up. He replied that steroids would provide a temporary lift of mood and energy.
If Jill the Adulteress was giving Dementia Jo pills prior to an appearance, wouldn't she do it in private? I once had a football coach who gave me amphetamines before a game, but he did it in private.

Wonder if they have found a body double for Slo Joe. Thing is the people behind Biden like to use him to make a mockery out of the presidency, so they have no use for one. The need will increase though if Biden goes for a second term.

Biden was the best the Dems could offer the GOPe wing of the UNIPARTY, which wouldn't accept Warren, Sanders, or Buttigieg as the selection winner in '20. Biden was a made UNIPARTY soldier. He was a placeholder thought reliable. Perhaps the GOPe had no sense of how far gone Biden was, but he was the default choice. All they had to do was animate him for the stage. The fraudsters in SIX states with REPUBLICAN legislatures did the rest.

If it came from Dr Jill, it was either Ritalin or Addreall. Isn't that the drugs teachers feel entitled to push on thier chargeswhen they are inconvienent?

Good Lord! You mean to tell me he's even worse without these pills? I remember a program a few years ago where they interviewed the pharmacist for the Congress. He stated that if people knew how many Congresspeople were on dementia medication they would flip out.

Something strange is going on, that's for sure. But what it is, that's another issue. If he were simply taking nootropics, there would be information available online about instant cognitive enhancers. Yet, there is practically no data available ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD on this topic. Just think about it: If drugs existed that could basically wipe out cognitive decline in a few minutes' time, RICH people worldwide would have access and be using them. Somewhere there would be research or reports or conclusive data. The human circuitry involved is very complicated and not well understood. If physicians could simply "turn up the dial" to temporarily fix Joe's dementia, it would be a wonder drug---and as such, massive amounts of data would also exist.
But, OK. Let's say that indeed a handful of international neurologists are holding onto this secret formula that can provide a quick temporary fix for dementia. Would those drugs also "cure" the unpredictability that accompanies cognitive decline? For example, perhaps Joe could be pharmaceutically be focused on reading the teleprompter...but would his handlers also be assured that he wouldn't suddenly try to eat the microphone or just start dismantling the podium?
Another poster wonders if a body double has been found. That's as plausible as the nootropic route. Who knows whether or not we should believe what we see or hear anymore? I've read about EXISTING technology that could also at least partially explain what's happening with Joe: Try googling "Microsoft wild hologram keynote" to be gobsmacked. Whatever is going on, I hope Carlson realizes he's a target and the left would like nothing better than to bait him with something and then completely discredit him before the midterms.

Big oops. I just went back and read my post, and it was testosterone that would temporarily animate a dementia patient.
I also read #21's excellent post, and would agree that there is no magic pill to treat a dementia patient, but offer this exception.
What if there were a physician - a Dr. Feelgood, a la John Kennedy - who was willing to offer a combination of pills that was dangerous, but temporarily giving a sad old man a temporary boost? A combination that no ethical physician would prescribe??
