The Biden administration helped guide roughly $1.3 million to the Taliban through a weapons removal program since September 2021, according to an April 30 inspector general report.
Taliban entities received funds from partners working with the State Department’s Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement in Afghanistan, including $138,000 in this quarter, according to the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction’s (SIGAR) recent report. SIGAR’s report documents how the head of the Taliban has defended Sharia law, including “publicly flogging and stoning women for committing adultery,” as well as how other terrorist groups, like ISIS-K, are proliferating in the region.

As violent pro-Hamas protests engulf campuses across America, one “leader” has been notably silent. Scenes of anarchy and chaos play on our television screens nightly, yet Joe Biden has yet to face the cameras and weigh in on the matter, much less call for a de-escalation of tensions. The administration’s only notable statements have been Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre's weak-kneed homages to the rights of Americans to protest—and while they’ve quietly condemned the antisemitic chants and vandalism, their hearts don’t really seem to be into it. (California Gov. Gavin Newsom has also put on a disappearing act, even as UCLA and USC have been embroiled in chaos.

A Boeing whistleblower who raised the alarm about defects in 737 Max jets has died suddenly at the age of 45.
Joshua Dean previously said he was fired from his job as a quality auditor at Spirit AeroSystems for questioning standards at the supplier's plant in Wichita, Kansas, in October 2022.
Spirit manufactured the door plug on the Boeing jet which shockingly blew out midair on an Alaska Airlines flight in January.
Dean died in hospital on Tuesday after a sudden illness, his family said on social media. He was fired from Spirit AeroSystems in April 2023.
Earlier this year, Dean spoke with NPR about being fired

President Joe Biden responded to a felon allegedly killing four officers in North Carolina Monday by pushing more gun controls for law-abiding Americans.
Breitbart News reported that the man who allegedly killed the officers, 39-year-old Terry Clark Hughes Jr., was a felon barred from gun possession.
In other words, Hughes faced 100 percent gun control. Nevertheless, he used a gun to kill four officers, one of whom was a Deputy U.S. Marshal
Biden responded by pushing gun storage laws and a slew of other controls for law-abiding citizens.
The White House published a statement from Biden, wherein he said:

Republicans began the Congress with a bold agenda to hold President Joe Biden accountable, but they’ll finish it in a coalition government with Democrats despite Republicans maintaining their slim majority.
House Democrat leadership issued a joint statement Tuesday announcing Democrats would table any vote on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) motion to oust Speaker Mike Johnson (R-L). The move cements a governing partnership that began when Johnson relied on Democrats to advance his foreign aid scheme after a monumental flip-flop from his position that no more foreign aid would be considered until securing the southern border.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that military aid to Ukraine was not charity, adding that it created jobs in the United States.
Host Kristen Welker said, “I want to ask you about your legacy. You said just this week that you often feel like the only Reagan Republican left. As you prepare to step down from your leadership position this year, what are your greatest concerns about the future of the Republican Party?”
McConnell said, “I tell you, I feel better about it after we had our vote. I don’t know what I said then, it may have been before the vote.

Laura Loomer confronted Fani Willis on Friday night at the National Association of Black County Officials (NABCO) in Miami, Florida.
Fani was attending the event with her lover and former lead attorney Nathan Wade. The two lovebirds are still traveling together on business/pleasure trips. It’s not clear who’s paying the bills.
Willis paid Wade over $653,000 between 2022 and 2023 while the two were dating. Wade was forced to step down from Fani’s case in mid-March against President Trump after the two were caught lying to the court about the timing of their affair.

An incident involving a physical attack by a female Secret Service agent tasked with protecting Vice President Kamala Harris is raising questions about whether the agency had thoroughly vetted her during her hiring and whether an ongoing push to increase the numbers of women in the service and boost overall workforce staff played a role in her selection.
The Secret Service agent assigned to Vice President Kamala Harris was removed from her duties Wednesday after physically attacking the commanding agent in charge and other agents trying to subdue her, according to an agency spokesman and knowledgeable Secret Service sources.

Pope Francis told CBS News this week that climate change deniers are “stupid” even in the face of compelling evidence of a climate emergency.
“Some people are stupid (necios), and stupid even if you show them research, they don’t believe it,” the pontiff told CBS Evening News anchor Norah O’Donnell when asked what he would say to the deniers of climate change.
“Why? Because they don’t understand the situation, or because of their interests, but climate change exists,” the 87-year-old pope asserted.
Pope Francis had never before sat down for an extensive interview, one-on-one, with a U.S. television network during the course of his 11-year pontificate.

U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) had his luggage stolen in San Francisco, California, on Thursday, leaving him without a suit as he addressed an audience that evening.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported:
Hello to the city, goodbye to your luggage. That was Senatorial candidate Adam Schiff’s rude introduction to San Francisco’s vexing reputation for car burglaries Thursday when thieves swiped the bags from his car while it sat in a downtown parking garage.
The heist meant the Democratic congressman got stuck at a fancy dinner party in his shirt sleeves and a hiking vest while everyone else sat in suits.

Mobs of rowdy migrants got into an all-out brawl outside a Midtown hotel, swinging sticks, belts and even traffic cones during the violent, broad-daylight melee, shocking new video shows.
At least a dozen asylum seekers squared off Sunday afternoon outside The Row hotel on Eighth Avenue, with one out-of-control migrant seen swinging a bat menacingly at the mob before one of the combatants is taken to the ground and pummeled by four others, footage posted on X shows.
At least two men are seen wearing bicycle helmets as the two sides square off in the middle of the street — even as motorists stream by in the middle of the brawl.

A high school soccer game at a public field in East Harlem was canceled after a group of migrants refused to leave the pitch so the kids could play.
“I directly asked them to leave and some of them kind of took it into consideration, but then four or five of them said, ‘You know what, f–k it, we don’t have to leave, we can do whatever we want,'” said Erik Johansson, the coach of the Manhattan Kickers 17-year-old boys travel team.
About 40 boys from both teams showed up on Sunday, April 14 at Thomas Jefferson Park for the 5 p.m. match.

I can't believe the Democrats would lie to us but Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., also said much is different since she signed the letter in 2017
Yeah, Sociocrats are in charge now.
