Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa cruised to a big victory as the Republican nominee for mayor, handily defeating rival Fernando Mateo following a feisty and entertaining primary fight, according to Board of Election returns released Tuesday night.“Curtis won and we want to unite the Republican Party and we hope Fernando Mateo will join us,” Sliwa senior campaign adviser Rob Cole told the Post.It was a rout.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) caved under pressure from Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) Tuesday, agreeing to vote to advance the federal takeover of elections legislation. The deal entailed Manchin being the 50th Democrat vote to advance the “For the People Act,” which still must survive a Republican filibuster during a procedural hurdle, is an exchange for a vote on Manchin’s alterations to the legislation if Republicans cave and support debating the legislation.“Today I will vote ‘YES’ to move to debate this updated voting legislation as a substitute amendment to ensure every eligible voter is able to cast their ballot and participate in our great democracy,” he explained, adding:

CNN's Brian Stelter's ratings continue to plummet after his Father's Day episode of 'Reliable Sources' drew only 656,000 viewers in his least-watched showing of 2021. It marks the the 12th consecutive week Stelter's show failed to hit one million views. In comparison, Fox News, which Stelter has been critical of, airs 'MediaBuzz' during Stelter's direct timeslot. That show averages 1.14 million viewers to top 'Reliable Sources' by 74 percent, Fox News reported. Reliable Sources, which airs weekly on Sundays, has suffered a disastrous ratings drop since interest from early this year peaked for all cable news amid the Capitol riot and Inauguration Day.

Democrats failed to get the For The People Act through a Senate test vote on Tuesday after every single Republican voted against the bill that has been called a 'power grab' and a bid to orchestrate the 'federal takeover of elections'. All 50 Democrats voted in favor, including key swings Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema. And all 50 Republicans voted against beginning debate on a revised 'For the People Act.' 'Today every single Democratic senator stood together in the fight to protect the right to vote in America,' Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said after the vote, also vowing to explore 'every last one of our options.'

It’s neck – and neck – and neck! New Yorkers streamed to the voting booths on Tuesday to cast their ballots in the Big Apple’s hotly contested Democratic mayoral primary — and while it will be a couple of weeks before a winner can be declared, early results showed a three-way race. The first round of the Democratic mayoral primary had Eric Adams (69,000 votes), Kathryn Garcia (54,593 votes) and Maya Wiley (48,822 votes) — with just six percentage points separating all three of the candidates, early returns from the Board of Elections show. Adams, the Brooklyn borough president, had 29 percent of the 183,000 ballots cast

It’s over, and we are thankful. It was a 50-50 procedural vote along party lines, but H.R. 1/S.1, the supposed “For the People Act” has been blocked by Senate Republicans. Sixty votes were needed in order to open debate on this legislation before entering into a vote on the actual bill. Because the Republicans were able to successfully filibuster, that 60 vote threshold was not met. The legislation is now dead on the Senate floor.(Tweet/Video) Any way you slice it, if H.R. 1/S.1 had passed, it would have been a wholesale takeover of elections by Federal fiat. Democrats and the Left have been alarmed at the election integrity measures that

Remember Christopher Steele? The author of the infamous 2016 “dossier” was an impeccably credentialed former British intelligence officer who, we were assured, had the goods on Donald Trump’s ties to Russia. Nearly every major news and opinion outlet vouched for his reputation and reliable sources inside the Kremlin.Steele frequently was described as an “ex-spy” in charge of a well-respected global consulting firm in London; he was alternatively a victim of Trump’s public taunts and a hero willing to risk his life and reputation to spare America the election of a Putin puppet.Steele’s work was validated not only by the news media and Democratic politicians who described the dossier as “raw intelligence”

It’s May 2018, and Robert Hunter Biden is trawling through his favorite Los Angeles escort sites. He orders “Yanna,” a 24-year-old Russian native from Emerald Fantasy Girls.“Russian, Green Eyes, Thin Brunette, an elite courtesan,” is Yanna’s pitch, along with a menu of sex acts.“Hi, My name is Rob. I’m staying at Chateau Marmont. Are you available now?” (Snip) All of these messages, all of these pictures, are saved on Hunter Biden’s laptop, which he treats like a diary, storing every e-mail and text conversion, his financial records, and

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will name a Democrat-led select committee to investigate the Capitol riot. Pelosi made the announcement during a closed-door meeting of the Steering and Policy Committee on Tuesday evening, according to two sources familiar with the discussions who spoke to Politico. CNN reported Tuesday night that she would set up the panel after Republicans blocked a 9/11-style commission in the Senate. The announcement was released just moments after Senate Republicans blocked the Democrats' bid to advance the For The People Act voting rights bill.Every Republican Senator voted against the proposal which need 60 votes to pass the filibuster.

Over the weekend, The Washington Post joined the Christopher Rufo smear campaign. He’s a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute who has become the face of public opposition to critical race theory. The article’s misrepresentations led to a story “clarification” that doesn’t go far enough. The article, written by “reporters” Laura Meckler and Josh Dawsey, is predictable and appalling in its failure to accurately define critical race theory and how Rufo has exposed it.WaPo’s piece is a part of the left’s response to stinging critiques of the open racism embodied in critical race theory, which has led to Rufo and others being targeted in The Atlantic, The New York Times,

Senate Republicans blocked a signature Democrat election bill that would radically transform America’s electoral system and grant the federal government more control over the country’s elections. The Senate voted 50-50, failing to meet the 60-vote threshold needed to advance the debate on S. 1, the For the People Act. This prevents the Senate from voting on the legislation. The legislation would federalize America’s electoral system, which has drawn strong opposition from Republicans. The legislation would: Federalize control over congressional elections; Declare that standard state and local maintenance of elections systems, such as purging ineligible voters from voter rolls, limiting vote-by-mail, requiring voter ID, and

Kamala Harris told left-wing activists to knock on doors to pressure people to get vaccinated as Biden’s July 4th vaccine goal is likely to fall short. The Biden Admin set a goal to fully vaccinate 70% of Americans by July 4th.Americans are refusing to get the Covid vaccine for many different reasons, but the Biden Admin is pushing for 70% vaccination so they can wield power over the unvaccinated. This has nothing to do with saving lives. It's all about power.
