Even with his own low approval numbers, President Joe Biden is leading both former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in a pair of direct match-ups long ahead of the 2024 election. Biden leads Trump by 10 percentage points–43 to 33–in a new Marquette Law School poll released Thursday. That poll has 16 percent backing 'someone else.' It comes even as Trump has been hammering Biden throughout his presidency, and stepping up his own activity with a rally last week in Arizona and another planned for Texas this coming Saturday. Penzey's Spices, the Milwaukee-based company that held "Republicans are Racist Weekend" sale on Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend earlier this month, is now dealing with a massive loss of customers and is now all but begging for new business.
"After starting the year with All Republicans are Republicans and following up with Republicans are Racists we’ve set a nice little Boycott Penzeys! surge in motion," Penzey's CEO Bill Penzey said in an email to customers Friday. "It certainly wasn’t unexpected, but if it’s within your means, you picking up a small stack of Gift Cards would help."

Former Vice President Mike Pence revealed that he has not spoken to former President Trump since last summer. He suggested that Jan. 6, 2021 marked a souring in their relationship. That day, ahead of the Capitol riot, Trump said that Pence 'didn't have the courage' to object to the election results during Congress' certification. Fox News' Jesse Waters asked Pence when the last time he spoke to Trump was on his show Thursday evening. 'You know, we talked last summer,' Pence said. 'And, you know, I've said many times, it was difficult. Jan. 6 was difficult. It was a tragic day in the life of the nation.'

Interrupting a campaign speech certainly doesn't seem like a way to get an invite into the White House, but that's exactly what a two-year-old short-haired tabby has managed to do. A green-eyed, gray and white farm cat made quite the impression on Jill Biden after jumping up on stage and interrupting her remarks during a 2020 campaign stop in her home state Pennsylvania. Now, President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden have finally welcomed Willow, after speaking of a long-promised cat, to their pet family.

Lancaster Online reported Tuesday that agents with Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, (ATF) seized firearms from an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania’s Leacock Township.
The seizure of the firearms occurred earlier this month.
Lancaster Online indicates the ATF’s action revolved around the farmer, Reuben King, allegedly selling firearms without a license.
King admitted that he had sold some firearms, but stressed that they were mostly long guns that other Amish could use for hunting. He noted that he sold some to non-Amish too.
He added, “I was not dealing in handguns, positively not.”
The Blaze noted that King “[did not] advertise the sale of his guns online and

Republican State Rep. Nick Freitas of Virginia has had enough of Democrats accusing anyone who opposes them of racism and sexism. During a floor speech this week, he went after Democrats for this and his speech was so amazing that it got applause afterwards. Other Republicans should study this speech. Real Clear Politics provides a partial transcript: NICK FREITAS: I was asked by a colleague of mine on the other side of the aisle, someone I actually deeply respect, and she asked me, was I going to be ‘nice’ this session?

A Pittsburgh bridge collapsed early Friday, according to authorities, just hours before President Biden was scheduled to visit the city to talk about infrastructure. No injuries were immediately reported, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety, which reported a “confirmed bridge collapse” at around 6:50 a.m. A photo from KDKA shows at least four vehicles, including a Port Authority bus, on the bridge near Forbes and Braddock avenues, which splits the Point Breeze, Regent Square and Squirrel Hill neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. Another vehicle is shown dangling near the edge of the collapsed bridge. Police, fire and EMS personnel are responding to the

A Los Angeles County judge on Thursday ordered Hannah Tubbs, a transgender California woman, to serve two years in a juvenile facility after she pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in 2014.
Before doing so, the judge criticized far-left District Attorney George Gascon, whose office declined to prosecute the repeat offender as an adult.
Tubbs, 26, recently pleaded guilty to molesting the girl in a women's bathroom eight years ago when Tubbs was two weeks away from turning 18. At the time of the crime, she identified as male and went by James Tubbs.

Philadelphia—An attempted carjacking suspect was seriously injured after a pizza delivery driver fought back against his attacker on Thursday night. An Indian father who froze to death alongside his wife and two children worked as a teacher and farmed his own land before they made the desperate and dangerous journey to cross in the United States from Canada, where they trudged through waist-deep snow in a blizzard for 11 hours. A foreign journalist challenged White House press secretary Jen Psaki Thursday to explain whether “America is back,” given the Biden administration’s many foreign policy failures.Biden has repeatedly used the phrase “America is back” to claim success in foreign policy, based on the partisan claim that President Donald Trump had withdrawn from the world, despite his diplomatic successes and the lack of war during his tenure.Psaki cited Biden’s “engagements” with other governments and his work in “rebuilding our relationships” with allies, which were allegedly “frayed” by the prior administration.Transcript via the White House:

Pete Buttigieg's plan to add more speed cameras to America's roads as a way patrolling them more 'fairly' has been panned by critics who say it will only lead to more speeding fines under the guise of equity and road safety. Buttigieg announced the plan yesterday and claims it will reduce the number of deadly road collisions.
The highway plan is receiving some $17billion from Biden's $1.2trillion infrastructure bill, which will be used in part to pay for the cameras.(Snip)'When the country applauded $1.2 trillion going to fixing the roads, bridges and buildings, a lot of us were dumb enough to think that's what might actually happen,'
