The next Superman movie will feature a black actor in the lead role for the first time ever and a black director at the helm, according to a report Wednesday. Ta-Nehisi Coates, the acclaimed novelist who expanded the world of Wakanda for Marvel comics, is also writing the script and is expected to turn it in to Warner Bros bosses in December.(Snip) J.J. Abrams will produce the new film, but is not among those being considered to direct. A source said that to hand him that role would be 'tone deaf'. 'To be invited into the DC Extended Universe by Warner Bros.,

Comments:

When you can't invent something of your own, go ahead and steal it. Nice attitude on the tone-deaf; "this production am bLACK only, mo' less." Meanwhile, imagine the howls of pain from The Community if anyone merely suggested there should be a WHITE Black Panther.

I've watched Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy, James Earl Jones, the actor in the new movie Without Remorse, not because they are black but because they are good actors who have been in well produced and directed movies, the moment you push a movie because its a black actor, or all female cast or any hybrid of political correctness, the movie is typically garbage. I don't care who is in it as long as its well thought out, please stop trying to correct my "blindness" and let me enjoy the story.

This is what Hollywood should have been doing all along. I firmly believe they have been the "racist" segment in society along with the companies/corporations who are now becoming woke. This has a lot to do with how much God has been guiding an individual's life and that would be apparent in how you treat your neighbor. After all, we are to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul; along with that, we are to love our neighbor as ourselves.

The gunman who fired a barrage of rounds into crowded Times Square was trying to kill his brother but wound up wounding three innocent bystanders—including a 4-year-old girl, police sources said Sunday. Muhammad, who peddles bootleg CDs at the Crossroads of the World, had gotten into an argument before he pulled out a pistol and started shooting wildly, sources said. The U.S. Navy has seized an arms shipment of thousands of illicit assault weapons, machines guns and sniper rifles hidden aboard a ship in the Arabian Sea likely headed for Yemen, officials have said. The U.S. fifth fleet, based in Bahrain, announced on Sunday that the guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey discovered the weapons aboard a stateless dhow—a traditional Mideast sailing ship - in an operation that began Thursday in the northern reaches of the Arabian Sea off Oman and Pakistan. An American defense official said the weapons resembled previous shipments which have been intercepted that were bound for Houthi rebels in Yemen.
