Dr. Fauci Does Damage Control on Sunday Show
Circuit After Getting Torched by Jim Jordan

Original Article

Dr. Anthony Fauci and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) had a tense exchange earlier this week during a congressional hearing. Jordan was insistent that he wanted objective measures from Fauci to guide lifting the restrictions many Americans are still living with, such as masking, social distancing, and limited gatherings. Over a year after the pandemic began, this seems like a perfectly reasonable request, but Fauci would not provide any details. It was not a good look. To do damage control, Fauci is making the rounds on the Sunday shows—except for Fox News. This evening, he will be interviewed by Matthew McConaughey to “separate fact from fiction” about vaccines in an NBC special

I actually watched the televised exchange, so I hardly need someone's review of what I saw; even some conservative's review. My main objection is those freaky photographs that editors believe must be shown for adults who can read, Picture books are for children and non-readers. Fauci is a scary visaged garden gnome.

There has been no greater casualty in this Dem-panic than the concept of inalienable rights. These have been replaced by permissions granted by the all-powerful government. Next time it will take a much smaller "emergency" for the people to line up and shuffle along in compliance. And the unaccountable Fauxi has been the Judas goat who led them all into it.

Does he even understand how vaccines work? There has been no instance in history where public health authorities recommended quarantining people who had been vaccinated. The data from Israel shows that the Pfizer vaccine provides a sterilizing immunity where the virus is prevented from replicating. A vaccinated person cannot spread the virus.

I’m glad Jim Jordan took it to Fraud-ci. He needs to be shown for the error ridden fool that he is. I haven’t listened to anything he has to say since before last summer and he really angered me when he made his comments about working in the PDJT Administration. A pox on him.

In strong comments during the closing arguments in the Derrek Chauvin trial on Monday, Judge Peter Cahill rebuked radical Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA) for calling on Black Lives Matter to be more violent if the jury returned a not guilty verdict. And like clockwork, CBS Evening News framed Judge Cahill as the problem, even the aggressor by claiming he was “lashing out” at Waters and perhaps working with the defense team. Following a segment on the trial’s closing arguments in general, CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell stepped in to defend the radical Congresswoman. “And Jamie, something extraordinary happened after the jury left to deliberate. Interior Secretary Deb Haaland issued an order Apr. 16 to forbid the bureaus and offices of the Interior Department from applying some of the current guidelines under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), whenever those guidelines differ from rules that predated the Trump administration. The Trump administration completed its revamp of NEPA guidelines in July, and they took effect Sept. 14. President Biden has instructed the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) to review those changes, possibly a prelude to revoking them. NEPA environmental analyses are obligatory in a great many federal decisions on oil and gas leasing, exploration, and production on federal lands, and decisions on pipelines crossing federal lands.

In the New York Times, David Leonhardt writes about “Irrational COVID Fears.” The subhead: “Why do so many vaccinated people remain fearful?” Oh, I don’t know. Maybe because of constant media hysteria, and the insistence by Dr. Fauci and others that vaccinated people continue to wear masks? That isn’t where Leonhardt is going, of course. He begins with the fact that most people are terrible at objectively assessing risk. That is both true and unfortunate, but not exactly news. It does apply to covid vaccination: The vaccines have nearly eliminated death, hospitalization and other serious Covid illness among people who have received shots.
