Former President Donald Trump told an audience of Republican Party donors on Saturday that the COVID-19 vaccine should be named after him as he admonished them to call it 'the Trumpcine.' He also called the November election in which Joe Biden won 'bulls**t,' according to the Washington Post, which cited an attendee, who also said he spoke for about an hour at his Florida Mar-a-Lago resort for a party fundraiser. He said he wished former Vice President Mike Pence had possessed the 'courage' to send the certification of the Electoral College votes back to state legislatures.'I like him so much. I was disappointed,' Trump said, according to the Post.

He's right about the speed of production of the vaccine (regardless of its efficacy), and he's doubly right about Pontius Pence.

if our President wanted to, he could ruin Pence in a head fake and Pence wouldn't know what hit him.

Treachery, the name is Pence. He also dispatched the one faithful servant Trump could have relied on, Mike Flynn.

Trump being Trump. He is a remarkable businessman who ran this country like a business for three terrific years. Then Covid hit and he got rolled by Fauci and shut down the country. Democrat governors saw an opportunity to make Trump look bad and they ran with it. Then Joe Biden bragged that the Democrats were going to steal the election and they did. Right out from under Trump and the Republicans. Almost eighty million of us voted for Trump hoping he could restore what he had let slide his fourth year in office. We need a leader and all Trump can do is scold and castigate other Republicans and brag about the speed with which the vaccine was made available. Well, it is not a vaccine but instead an immunity booster and long term effects have yet to be determined. This country is in trouble and Trump’s solution is to attack fellow Republicans. Is it wishful thinking to expect this man to step up and be the leader so sorely needed at this time?

Trump should take credit for Covid vaccine - he deserves credit. We truly miss Trump and his accomplishments during his 4 yrs in office. Despise the trash that is now in the WH. The next 4 yrs will bring this country down and lib loons are to blame.

I wish he would stop fighting with Pence. Pence was a good guy. What he did made sense, it wasn't for him to reverse the election, the cowards are on the Supreme Court, soon to be stacked and made insignificant for their cowardice, hoping the crocodile would eat them last. Trump's better with Pence than without him. Please, Mr. President, stop fighting with Pence. Bring him back and reconcile.

Trump put the machinery in motion for Big Pharma to create several vaccines and made it happen. Any adverse effects are on them but all credit is his. Joe botched the rollouts, that's his piece of the action.
We used to like Mike Pence too, not so much any longer. His yellow underside ended his career unless he wants to be a zoo worker or groundskeeper at the ball park in Indianapolis. Maybe he can golf on the weekends with Butt Judge.

What is the problem with claiming credit for the vaccine? He’s the one man who cut through the bureaucracy and allowed the pharmacy companies to create in record time a vaccine for the WuFlu. Jealous?

I disagree #6. Republicans confusing real leadership with status quo management is partly why the Democrats have beat the stuffings out of us in so many battles. Democrats can be totally wrong but because Republicans lacked moral courage to LEAD, we basically lost. Trump’s outstanding business acumen without the bold courage could not have achieved a thing. The Republicans had no problem attacking their own party’s POTUS for four years.
Thank you #2! Pontius Pence is exactly right.
No way do we forget what he did to not only Trump but to the NATION.

Agree completely #12. It is positively comical that Pence is "exploring" a presidential run in 2024. He is a self-righteous fraud who couldn't get elected dog-catcher after betraying Trump and his country. His personally chosen staff was a source of constant backbiting and leaks throughout Trump's administration.

I know that President Trump was misinformed and disinformed by Dr. Fraud and company to believe that the these bizarre biological injections were actual vaccines, like all the truly life saving vaccines that came before, back when the Hippocratic Oath hadn't been turned into the Hypocritical Oath. President Trump did a masterful job of cutting through red tape to get these "vaccines" into production.
Too bad they have been subverted by an evil cabal. We don't yet fully know what these biologics actually do, but I bet it is more harm than good. I fear that the real goal is "saving the planet" which the ecocrazies have been pushing for decades. I am fearful that they have decided that depopulation is "the solution".

Pence was a really good VP, as long as he didn't have to do anything.
But when President Trump needed him to stand up for the law and truth, Pence proved what a career swamp creature he truly was.
Pence should have been the most vocal of those calling for justice and truth in the post-election weeks, but he was silent. And when he could have used the power of his office to make a stand, he folded like a piece of wet toast.
So Pence needs to just fade away in history now. The Republi-Can't Party may still like him, be we conservatives have no use for a traitor and coward!!!!!

#8- “...it wasn’t for him to reverse the election.” ~~~ Vice President Pence was not being asked to “reverse the election.” Vice President Pence was being asked to consider abiding by the Electoral Count Act of 1887 that “...aims to minimize Congressional involvement in election disputes, instead placing the primary responsibility to resolve disputes upon the states. The Act sets out procedures and deadlines for the states to follow in resolving disputes, certifying results, and sending the results to Congress.”
In the past 20 years, Electoral College Certifications were objected to three times by Democrats. In 2001, “House Democrats challenged the certification of electoral votes for then-Texas Governor George W. Bush, a Republican...” In 2017, Vice President Joe Biden “oversaw certification of the electoral votes that handed the presidency to Donald Trump. House Democrats had challenged the electoral slate. In 2005, Representative Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D, OH) and Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) “together challenged Bush’s victory in Ohio on grounds of alleged voter irregularities.”
Senator Ted Cruz wanted Congress to “appoint an Electoral Commission, with full investigatory and fact-finding authority to conduct an audit of election results before Inauguration Day on Jan. 20. Once the audit was completed, states would evaluate the Commission’s findings and could convene a special legislative session to certify a change in their vote, if needed.”
There was nothing immoral about pursuing the Constitutional action President Trump wanted to follow not solely for his personal benefit, but because of the morality in seating a presidential candidate as a result of voter fraud, thereby sanctioning such a precedent for future elections. The decision Mike Pence made was his to make; however, again, there was nothing immoral about pursuing that 1887 Constitutional action.

Unfortunately, what we're seeing in this thread is exactly what can keep any conservative from entering the White House in 2024.

With much respect, #18, I think what I see are American patriot conservatives giving warning that we will not allow any more phony conservatives (who are really just establishment globalists underneath) get any idea we are going to put them in the WH.

A must read. I have always wondered why the story of the persons being arrested before boarding planes to return to China has been buried. This may explain a few things.
