Miles Taylor, chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security under Kirstjen Nielsen, revealed Wednesday that he was the anonymous “senior” white house official who authored a critical op-ed of President Donald Trump.
The 2018 op-ed published by the New York Times described President Trump as “impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective” and said that he was just one of many officials in the administration working against the president.
Taylor revealed his identity to prominent media outlets on Wednesday afternoon, despite denying he was responsible for the op-ed in previous interviews.(Snip) Taylor had very little access to the president, but the Times described him as a “senior” official

From his statement at his new employer CNN:
History will also record the names of those souls who had everything to lose but stood up anyway, including Trump officials Fiona Hill, Michael McKinley, John Mitnick, Elizabeth Neumann, Bob Shanks, Olivia Troye, Josh Venable, Alexander Vindman, and many more. I applaud their courage. These are not "Deep Staters" who conspired to thwart their boss. Many of them were Trump supporters, and all of them are patriots who accepted great personal risks to speak candidly about a man they've seen retaliate and even incite violence against his opponents.

From a long NYT article:
On Wednesday, Kayleigh McEnany, the president’s current press secretary, called Mr. Taylor a “low-level, disgruntled former staffer,” adding that he “is a liar and a coward who chose anonymity over action and leaking over leading. He was ineffective and incompetent during his time as D.H.S. chief of staff.”
Ms. McEnany said that “it is appalling a low-ranking official would be granted anonymity, and it is clear The New York Times is doing the bidding of Never-Trumpers and Democrats.”
In the book, Mr. Taylor said he decided to remain anonymous because he believed revealing his identity would have allowed Mr. Trump and his allies to distract attention from the substance of the critique he leveled against the president.

Intersting he outs himself now. Hope it means they need it to get Trump( meaning Trump is still ahead and they need more ammo.) none of what he says is verifiable and only personal opinion.

to add to poster #1, I'd still like to see the honor roll of honest brave FBI and CIA agents and DOJ staff and that stood up and risked everything to uncover the corruption at their departments when innocent Americans were being ruined and a coup run against the president.
How about it Shawn Hannity, where are they?

Monty Python would have called this prime example of a human t*rd a "girly man". That's someone who hasn't the cohones to stand up like a real man and say what he has to say, and then take the consequences, like hire on at CNN.
On the theory that all secrets in DC are actually "open" secrets in that exclusive enclave, this little weasel knows quite well that Biden Inc. has been operating for YEARS, and he prefers that Biden Inc. be propelled into the presidency of the US, in spite of the FACT that Biden Inc. has enabled our existential enemy, China, to buy a company integral to the defense of this country.
The second is our last defense when our own government toadies actively try to destroy us, like this ...I'm simply out of words. Downright Orwellian.

Yet another unctious twit. Unfortunately, little paper pushers often have an inflated opinion of their own value. You think you have some good ideas Miles? Run for President and when you win, you can make the decisions. If you haven't earned the position, you don't have the authority.

An anonymous nobody that never met Trump, never spoke with him. Everything he said is just echoing what he saw on CNN, and the NYTs thought that was newsworthy to pass on, as it agreed with their views.

Quite a contrast between what this worm did and what Tony Bobulinski is doing. He is taking on real risk. If Biden wins, his life is over.

Setting yourself up as a courageous truth teller against a man who clearly loves his a country and the American people, and has accomplished so much for them, tells me exactly who and what you are. Donald J Trump has shown us who the swamp is and how deep it runs. A pox on these people.

Miles Taylor said, " . . .he was just one of many officials in the administration working against the president."
I guess that he's one of many excuses his insubordination.
We are well aware that many officials in the President's administration working against him. We trust that President Trump is going to Clean the Swamp at a much faster pace than during his first term, hopefully to include Miles Taylor,

So, the NYT has very low standards for what a "senior" WH staffer is, and his publisher may not like knowing he wasn't very senior after all either.
And, I would wonder if CNN doesn't have possible FCPA exposure due to being owned by AT&T, a publicly traded company. Or, if they may think twice about having someone who admits to fabricating things - CNN wouldn't likely care, but the parent company is publicly traded.

He mentioned Alexander Vindman. (My tablet tried to autocorrect to “vindictive, interestingly) There’s a name that hasn’t aged well, especially considering recent revelations. You can tell a lot about a person by considering the company he keeps.

From #3: “In the book, Mr. Taylor said he decided to remain anonymous because he believed revealing his identity would have allowed Mr. Trump and his allies to distract attention from the substance of the critique he leveled against the president.”
The more logical and most probable reason for his remaining anonymous, besides cowardice, is so that he could be portrayed as WAY MORE “senior” and important than he actually was by the NYT, thus do more harm and draw attention away from his lying, puny little self.
I’ve got a feeling Trump’s people knew and left him in place for a reason. Breitbart had his number by May of 2019.
He may have unknowingly revealed more accurate information to Trump than the published lies he told about him.

Boy prostitute. For sale to highest bidder. Taylor worked for good old Kristen who was likethis with John Kelly, one of the most evil CoS ever, who still says about the same things Taylor wrote. Interesting. May young Taylor have difficulty finding legitimate jobs with legitimate people who value character, honesty, integrity.
