100 Percent Fed Up – If polls didn’t exist, who would you say was winning the election right now? It’s a serious question. Would it be the guy who has massive rallies every day, many of them spontaneous, or the guy who stays in his basement every day, drawing scant crowds the rare times he comes up for air?Joe Biden is up eight points in the RCP national average. This is no small thing. Yes, pollsters got it wrong in 2016, but they tend to correct for past mistakes. They have reputations to maintain. But are they just biased?

After watching 4 years of what they have done to Donald Trump it is unbelievable that even the conservative media are begging us to believe the ‘polls’. What the hell is wrong with these people.

You can't DISAVOW vote fraud without entrenched polling fraud.

“Which brings me to the whole idea of the ‘shy’ Trump voter. This is a real thing, and it’s what the pollsters may be missing. It’s people who won’t talk to a pollster, or if they do, are reluctant to say they are voting for Trump. The big question is, how big is this effect?”

I can only speak for my county in PA. We are registering an enormous amount of new republicans that are voting for the first time. One woman was in her eighties. President Trump's base is pumped up, people are volunteering like crazy, etc. I never saw anything like this before in my entire life. Now, our organization is motivating them to get out and vote and we are working like crazy.
Yes, I'm stumped about these polls!!

Same here in south Florida. Dade and Broward are democrat counties. You see these caravans forming everyday and there are hundreds of cars. If you go in the interstate you might se 2 or 3 of these caravans. You see Biden signs but no enthusiasm. In busy corners you see hundreds with flags. The people you see are of every race and they are united . Trump changed the Republican Party to the party of the people !

I think the shy Trump voter is a real thing. I'm one. I work on a college campus and I don't dare let anyone know I am a supporter of the President. There are a few of us and we are quiet about it. With the covid, the budget is tight and we don't want to be fired.

The polls provide cover for Democrat vote fraud. There's very little enthusiasm for Harris/Biden. So when they scam a win, people would be justifiably skeptical. But no, with "polls" saying Harris/Biden are in the lead, then they'll point to those and say, "See, Biden really was ahead all along.".
That's it. It's a system of fraud and propaganda to disguise the fraud.

It doesn't matter where I work, but they have a policy against everything, including political speech. Still, you may hear it after everyone in the room has looked over both shoulders and made sure the phones are all hung up and radios turned off. It is overwhelmingly in favor of Trump.

You city folk that are afraid of the Left, afraid of losing your job, afraid of someone knowing you will vote for Trump, afraid of your shadow or whatever, well, we mountain, suburb, flag waving, gun toting, Bible believing deplorable chumps will save your butt. I am just kidding, kinda. You have chosen to live among the heathens. We chose to live among Nature. Two different worlds. I hope Trump wins, but win or lose, I will be joyful and free of fear. Here is a secret for you. Catching an 8lb steelhead on a fly rod is sweeter than getting that raise from the boss you despise. Learn to depend on God and yourself. It is an awesome feeling. Love you good folk. Have a blessed day.

I’ve never been polled but if I were, I would lie. Just to mess with the demonrats. I want them to scream helplessly at the sky even louder this time around.

I like the video in the story comparing Trump and Biden rallies. Trump has a large, cheerful and noisy crowd. Biden's 'rally' is so quiet you can hear his heels clicking on the pavement as he wobbles toward the podium - then 1 person offers a feeble applause.

It’s not just the polling that they may be biased, it’s the analysis that may not be properly adjusted to represent the voting population, either deliberately or ignorantly. The old saying that you can make statistics say anything you want comes from statisticians. It’s all about manipulating polling data to get from a few thousand responders to millions of actual voters. Since you can’t even sample a 1/10%, simple assumptions in the adjustments can make dramatic differences in the conclusions. You have to compare polls done by different methods, using different adjustment factors to understand what’s going on. Of course anything that conflicts with common sense is suspect.

I'm in the same position as poster #6 - I teach in a college and could easily lose my job, so I simply don't speak about political things except with one or two very close friends.
