Democrats aren’t just opposing the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court. They’re having a tantrum over it.
On Thursday, as the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to advance Barrett’s nomination, Democrats boycotted.
"Throughout the hearings last week, committee Democrats demonstrated the damage a Justice Barrett would do — to healthcare, reproductive freedoms, the ability to vote, and other core rights that Americans cherish," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Judiciary Committee Democrats said in announcing their boycott. "We will not grant this process any further legitimacy by participating in a committee markup of this nomination just 12 days before the culmination of an election that is already underway."

From the point that McConnell said "We have the votes." the dems were powerless and they knew it. They made their side of the hearings an absurdity. Barrett is SO WELL QUALIFIED that they had NOTHING to attack her over. Barrett is SO BRILLIANT that she made it look easy to overcome the dems clumsy, bumbling efforts to drag her into the weeds. Through it all she maintained the serious and respectful demeanor needed for a SCOTUS justice. Her confirmation is expected and well deserved.
However, her confirmation IS dangerous, not to the American People, but to the dems legislation through the judiciary agenda.
The dems used the hearing time to make a parody of themselves. Consider that if BOCare had been well thought out and well designed it would have been supported by the American People. Instead, it started crumbling before the ink dried on the bill. Immediately healthcare costs started spiraling upward. The cost of policies were beyond most people who actually needed them. Even when the government helped to buy the policy, the insane deductibles made the policy worthless until $8,000+ OOP was spent. People who had insurance coverage, hospitals, and doctors they liked, lost them despite BO's promises (lies) that it wouldn't happen. As the full costs of BOCare became realized, rural hospitals started to close.
Basically, everything bad that could happen to healthcare was triggered or accelerated by BOCare. In fact, BOCare had only ONE redeeming quality. It gave the government control of healthcare and proved the critics case that government run healthcare is a disaster.
The voters kicked the dems in Congress out of power. People are facing all the consequences that the dems were moaning about because the dems tried to grab control of healthcare and did a ghastly job of it. AND we are still stuck with the remnants of it thanks to McCain and his ilk.

So Democrats think the unfettered killing of pre-born babies is a "core right that Americans cherish."
Not this American.

I'd remind EVERYONE, Obozo Care was all about ruining the Health Care Insurance Business. Our actual health care is second to none. Just VERY expensive...

Oh, yeah. She is going to make decisions based on the Constitution and the law not legislate from the bench. That is really scary! NOT!

One of the reasons that healthcare is very expensive is the fact that someone besides the patient pays for it. Providers grossly inflate the costs of their services. The insurance companies then pay way less than the amount billed. Theoretically the patient is on the hook for the balance. When an overnight stay in the hospital, with no major medical procedures, results in a bill in excess of $10,000, something is out of whack.

The democrats are attempting to turn a beautiful woman into Godzilla. The accusations are so absurd that most people see it for the dirty politics that is their only substitute for actual competence or intelligence. Democrats themselves can not pass any test of honesty, decency or humanity. The entire party deserves to die a miserable death. Lucky for them that conservatives do not riot.

... remember how disrespectful and hateful and childish the Republicans were when kagan and sotomayor were nominated .....yeah...neither do I.
...did you know that kagan had NEVER served as a judge before her nomination...??
...sotomayor...??...her main qualification appears to be that she openly despises white men...???
...let's be real...they are BOTH there because obama "packed the court" with "softball players " who like to " chill out to Melissa Etherigde ".... and Republicans were too afraid to oppose it.

Democrats would throw a tantrum if President Trump nominated Nancy Pelosi to the supreme court. Th e tantrum isn't about who is nominated. The tantrum is about who is nominated because EVERYONE knows only Dimocrats are qualified to rule over us.

Dems have been in a screaming hissy fit, kicking the wall and screaming tantrum mode for four years.
Nothing new at all. Same old childish garbage. Ignore them.
