President Trump delivered the speech of his presidency at Mount Rushmore Friday, a magnificent affirmation to Americans on their 244th national birthday that what they have always cherished is still cherished, along with a warning shot to those who hate and despise all the United States stands for. It was non-partisan -- there was no mention of Democrats or Joe Biden. It was inclusive - celebratory of people of all races, and celebratory in particular of the singularity of America being great for such diversity. It was also big-hearted, magnanimous, celebrating all the ranges achievements of the country. Yet it also did the thing Trump does best,
Jim Acosta IS an enemy of the Republic and an enemy of reason and logic. He epitomizes the arrogant, self-absorbed elitist Democrat of this era.

Not even on Independence Day can the America-Hating MSN find something favorable to comment on about the Great American Experiment. I even got annoyed at FOX last night for encroaching on the speakers with the need to explain to us what the significance of the event was about. One Fox personality even kept referring to the location as Mt. Vernon. Enjoyed the entire event, including the fireworks on C-Span. Our President hit it out of the park as he addressed how blessed we are to live in the USA.

At Mount Rushmore, Trump exploits social divisions, warns of ‘left-wing cultural revolution’ in dark speech ahead of Independence Day.
Trump Uses Mount Rushmore Speech to Deliver Divisive Culture War Message
Thus spake the Lords of WAPO and NYT. And great was the power therein.

What a great President we have and what a great Country.
"Acosta: "We are not the enemy of the people. I am not your enemy. You are not my enemy. It is wrong to call your fellow Americans the enemy. We are all on the same team. We are all Americans."
You LIE. Media is a 5th column who has made it clear that they hate this Country and what it stands for. You have tried to lull us in complacency in the past with this "We are all Americans" schtick. To you we are only Americans if we do what you want. We are Americans because we believe in the principles of liberty that founded this great nation. You have no principles, only lust for power and control. America was founded with power resting with individual citizens, not government or a top level organization. You continually fail at convincing voters to support your foolish ideas so now you are trying to impose them by chaos and force and outside the framework of laws that SPECIFICALLY protect the individual. In the cities where you and the dems rule, there is only decay. You ARE the enemy of America and her concept of government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
"Voters should remember this in November"
We need to remember this NOW!

Divisive between the people who think no-police zones and tearing down statues is a good thing and those who don't.

I saw the President's speech. Wow. Indeed, he affirmed the United States of America as the greatest nation on Earth. Leftism was shown the door yesterday.
May God continue to bless the President and the United States of America.

President Trump flew high above them, above their pettiness, above their hypocrisy. He enumerated all the reasons for our patriotism and pride in our country and her wonderful people and acomplishments. He made it clear, this historic fight is the great USA vs. the destructive mob and the USA will win.

Forgive second post.
A group of citizens held Trump signs yesterday in a Boston suburb intersection, and were received with overwhelming positive response. It was just wonderful, red hats waving, thumbs up, yells of support, horns blaring, truck drivers, police, buses, all with a smile. The President didn't carry Ma, last time, but it might be close this year .

Yesterday was the 157th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. I wish Abe Lincoln were back with an encore to his address: "Twelve score and four years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
Now we are engaged in another great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure."

I am so thrilled to see others here felt as we did last night watching our President Trump.
His delivery of such soaring phrases made me feel he was putting every part of his heart and soul into that speech. He was very hot and uncomfortable I think and I prayed for him several times.
To the people of South Dakota. You elected yourself a magnificent and beautiful Governor. I loved her speech and I LOVED the way she introduced PDJT. Your state, Mt. Rushmore and the people last night were the patriotic picture of our real America for all the world to see. I was so proud of you.
Go ahead you lying democrats, you backstabbing GOPe, Uniparty greedy globalists and you self-serving anti-Trump anti-American media. Take your best shot. You will not kill us! We are rising up in large numbers to stand beside our battle weary President and fight you for our country.

God Bless the USA

I had a laugh last night flipping past MSNBC as they showed the fireworks show with the graphic "Trump orders fireworks despite wildfire risk."

" Dark and divisive". The meme for the speech. Too bad they didn't actually listen to it before they wrote their fiction.

I’m beyond fed up with clueless ignorant America haters. They need to just leave and forsake their citizenship.
I lived in two foreign countries in the 1980’s, one in Western Europe (Belgium) and one behind the Iron Curtain in Eastern Europe (Romania). Communist Romania was miserable and I could spend days telling you stories of what we witnessed there. Belgium was nice but by no means comparable to the US. It was already accumulating Muslims and the French and Flemish Belgians hated each other though they were all white. I had a brief visit to a hospital while in Belgium and it was about the equivalent of a US hospital in the 1940’s. There were a lot of good restaurants and beer but pretty much everything else was a step or two below what we were used to at home. And now they are under control of the EU and overrun with Muslims.
So, all of you America haters, just get out. And good luck finding a better place to live because there isn’t one.

It isn't just the media, but the blue state governors and mayors who are fomenting this hate with their own bias. NY governor Manslaughter is the leader of the pack when it comes to being a hateful anti-Trumper. So much so, he refused to use the ship that Trump provided and instead put sick people into the nursing homes instead. They just cannot give Trump credit for doing anything good.

I believe Acosta and most other MSM are not enemies of America but misguided (for a variety of reasons) to hate Trump and deplorables (including some relatives probably). They most likely would be satisfied with a Biden win. On the other hand, obama and his fellow travelers (commies, islamists, soros, marxists, etc.) are true haters of America and what the country stands for. An overthrow is what they want. They will always try. The misguided in their zest to take down Trump are unwittingly aiding the obama/soros cabal.

Excellent speech and an equally excellent opening address by the Governor of South Dakota who reminds me of Sarah Palin. The link to the whole ceremony including the flyovers is on the conservative treehouse wesite. Ask yourself, who would you rather listen to/watch, Nancy Pelosi or this Governor?
