Former GOP Speaker Paul Ryan (Wis.) said Friday he disagrees with Sen. Mitt Romney's (R-Utah) decision to vote for President Trump's removal from office in this month's impeachment trial.
It was “purely a conscience vote” for Romney, Ryan said at an event at the University of Virginia, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Ryan was Romney's running mate when he ran for president as the Republican nominee in 2012.

Paul Ryan thinks he's smarter than everyone else and must be trying to re-establish himself...ie work in his "optics" to run for a higher office again. Republicans should remember him for the RINO he is.

Ryan says that Trump doesn't know how to govern. He is getting a heck of lot more done than YOU did Paul. Maybe you are saying he isn't a member of the uniparty. Thank God for that.
Rummey's vote was a vote of jealousy and ego, not conscience.

Ryan, just stop. Okay? Your rehabilitation is hopeless until many, many of us bitter, clinger rememberers are dead and gone.

Who freakin cares what Paul Ryan has to say about anything. This moron is the one person responsible for where we are today. He personally handed the House over to the democrats because he turned out to be a total loser, a RINO. He allowed his hatred of Trump to over ride his decisions about what was best for our country. So, nobody really care about what he thinks. A loser is a loser. Got it.

Where is the conscious vote rule in the impeachment clause?

Romney’s conscience is severely underdeveloped. That’s not unusual with persons who are more concerned about seeming righteous than being righteous. So much work goes into maintaining the outward appearance that the real interior work is neglected.

It was no conscience vote. It was a vote of envy hatred and jealousy and a big scoop of ass-kissing to democrats who now regard him as their new hero. The McCain replacement. Another maverick. The new rino leader of the herd. Ryan is jealous of Mittens. A perfect pair of losers.

I know but as he tries once again to ingratiate himself in with Republican Trump supporters, he thinks it will work because all was forgiven with Jeff Sessions, right? Ryan is same as Mitt at our house. We do not watch his interviews.

If he’d been a real American and republican speaker of the house there wouldn’t have been an impeachment to vote for or against in the first place.

Yeah, right. Sure you do Paulie, sure you do. You, Boehner, Romney and Obama are the ones who lack the ability to govern. Go back to your own state, and run for governor if you want. But leave the rest of us alone. I suspect nobody would vote for you for president, even if you put your best passive aggressive efforts into it.
