He Finally Did It In the three years since Colin Kaepernick knelt his way off of the San Francisco 49ers and out of the National Football League, the one thing the drama has lacked is ambivalence. People either hated him or viewed him as a social hero who was being mistreated and prevented from playing the game he loves. Now everybody just hates him. Throughout his supposedly unwanted hiatus from football, Kaepernick and those representing him have insisted that he

He's proven what most of us knew all along - that he's more interested in chucking darts at the NFL than being a quarterback. Good riddance.

My guess is that Colin did a private workout for somebody in the know and they told him he was all washed up and didn't want to embarrass himself in a tryout. Although I still wish somebody would sign him so we can all remember why he's no longer a NFL quarterback.

Every article or news report about this self-absorbed d-bag always mentions his kneeling. They seem to always leave out the fact that he also wore socks that depicted law enforcement as pigs.
Yes Kaepernick, we remember......and won't forget. F you.

So, Kaepie, what to do? Too late now, pal. You should have stood upright at the games with right hand over your heart and singing the words when the National Anthem was being played.

I get it. His NFL career was circling the drain so he started this. He makes a fortune from Nike instead of disappearing into the dust bin of NFL history. The NFL screws it all up by offering a chance to come back and fail. Nike has made up this 'sacrificing everything 'fairy tale' and now it's all falling apart.

No, not me. I am just sick and tired of hearing about this has-been, mediocre football player who hates the country I love.
Go away, maybe move to Africa or something.

He should run for president. I really really really want to vote against a K-Pernik / Mattressback Harris ticket.

Colon Kraperdink reminded me that the NFL has no redeeming qualities in that they pay exorbitant salaries to a bunch of thugs to play a game. I haven't found a need to watch an NFL game since Colon took a knee to protest his allegation that all cops are racist. NFL turned a blind eye to his antics. Freedom of expression don't you know! I also haven't had a need or desire to purchase anything that bears the name Nike, or a desire to donate to the NAACP. But certain things I still do such as supporting law enforcement, and standing for our National Anthem. Colon, take you fro and just go!

If he signed and some big defensive guy ripped his helmet off and bonked him on the empty cranium that he has...would anyone care? The defensive guy would probably be promoted to President of the NFL! Kap is a joke and always has been. A late round pick out of Wisconsin, I watched him play against Iowa

I’d love to have one of the all-knowing talking heads on ESPN explain why it is so heroic and acceptable for Kaepernick to make a political statement while at his job, but it is a fireable offense for Curt Schilling to post a political Tweet while off the clock.

CK needs to get a shave and a haircut and loose the scruffy beard and 70’s Afro and clean to his act. This ain’t the Olympics where you can now your head and raise a clenched fists over head and pledge to fight against white crackers. Time to grow up man up and become a role model for real American values.

Sign him, put him on the field and then let Harrison Smith from the Vikings take a shot at him. Have a stretcher and ambulance ready with plenty of morphine for the broken bones and snapped ligaments! Move on...
