The 448-page Mueller report has been public for two months, so it might seem strange that the Justice Department's original instructions to special counsel Robert Mueller, outlining what he was assigned to investigate, are still a secret. But they are. And now, it turns out those instructions were more extensive than previously known. Until now, it was widely understood that there had been two "scope memos" from the DOJ to Mueller. Now, it turns out there was a third, as well.
When Mueller was first appointed, on May 17, 2017, the appointment document, signed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, authorized Mueller to investigate three areas: "i) any links and/or

This is proof that Rod Rosenstein was deep in the coup to take out a sitting President. This all could have been over a few months after it started but the scope of the investigation changed. I kept wondering why Mueller's investigation went out of the boundaries of the Russian collusion investigation. This makes it clear. They could not get him on collusion so let's get him something else. OR put the squeeze on Manafort and MAYBE Manafort has dirt on Trump that he will reveal to save himself. Thank God for AG Barr and U.S Attorney Durham.

Every time Mueller discovered some heinous Democrat wrongdoing, he requested another memo that put it out of the scope of his investigation.

“When Mueller was first appointed, on May 17, 2017, the appointment document, signed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.....”
How did Rod Rosenstein, the signer of the 4th false FISA warrant to spy on now President Trump, become so powerful in the Trump Administration? Rod wrote the memo to fire Director Comey, recommended Mueller as Comey’s replacement, appointed Mueller Special Counsel to investigate the Trump-Russian collusion lie, secretly expanded Mueller’s authority at least twice and allowed Mueller to continue his Gestapo like investigation for 22 months when the collusion story was fake from the beginning. Then, AG Barr, FBI Director Wray and former AG Sessions give Rosenstein a warm, loving retirement party because, like Susan Rice’s description of Bowie Bergdahl, Rosenstein “served with honor and distinction”. And one can be certain that Rod won’t face perjury charges for assuring a FISC judge that the 4th FISA warrant renewal, still backed by the Dossier, was complete and verified.

This third supposed Scope Memo was dated 10/20/17 when, thanks to Devin Nunes, Rosenstein / Mueller / Weissmann knew it was inevitable that America was going to find out that the “dossier” was commissioned and paid for by Team Hillary and the DNC (it was revealed to the public at the end of 10/17). My guess is that whatever this third memo was about had something to do with adjusting the parameters of the fishing expedition to account for the fact that the dossier was about to be exposed as the political garbage it was.

I continue to wonder if Jeff Sessions has dementia. His senate testimony, his responses to Franken, both were indicators to me.
I'm old enough to witness friends dying from the condition. Some go out hostile/angry/destructive, some go out silently, and some go out meek, mild, frightened. Sessions appears to be the latter.

Quite frankly releasing the Mueller report without first a full disclosure of the scope memo and all subsequent versions is absurd.
I was authorised to investigate X so here's my report on Y. Makes no sense without interjecting malfeasance, then suddenly it's clear as can be.

"re-authorized him to investigate Michael Cohen, Richard Gates, and Roger Stone"
I find it VERY interesting that in an investigation that, to start, had NO PROOF of criminal activity that specific names would be called out for targeting? Shouldn't the EVIDENCE dictate WHO should be investigated? FIRST, show me proof that there was Russian interference with the election. Next, show me proof that some American was linked to that interference, i.e. collusion. THEN investigate that person more fully.
If this is how the Justice Department carries out its cases, it is no wonder that the members of this team has been rebuked in court so often. As far as I am concerned, most of Mueller's team, including Mueller should NOT have been authorized for official investigative work based on their past abuses. They have destroyed many lives with their unfounded zealotry.
Now that some Congressmen have seen this authorization, shouldn't they be able to say if the language in it makes them nervous AND whether they feel there is justification to keep it secret? OR is it all, in their opinion, being done to shield the guilty? If it is the latter, that should start pressure for further review and possible release of the document.

If Trump can authorize the release of Classified information, why can't he order the release of these redacted documents? Call up Barr and have him send over the un-redacted versions! Time for some Sunshine on what Rosenstein was up to!

#1 the purpose, not the predicate, was to name names to keep investigation on Trump and not allow it to pull any Dems into the investigation. I have to ask, what did Tony Podesta do that was different from Manafort?

#9, sure looks like the Special Council needed to move the goal posts after Devin Nunes' findings, which enabled the "investigation" to continue through the elections.
Could this be so they would influence the outcome of the election in 2018?
After all, look at collapse of the TV ratings for CNN and MSNBC after the Mueller Report found no collusion and no obstruction - it demoralized the Left.
Were Democrat operatives nervous about a collapse in enthusiasm for 2018 elections if they stopped the investigation prior to being re-authorized with this 3rd memo?

How many times have we been told that "Horowitz's report will be out in late May or early
June"?
Late May is long gone and early June is a memory.
Where in the hell is the report on these criminal thugs?
When do they start arresting them and indicting them?

Yet never a mention of how this whole hoax was started. The DNC and Clinton paying a former British spy to create a dossier to implicate Trump in a crime that didn't exist.
