Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) argued Thursday before the Supreme Court that droning American citizens is permissible because Obama’s DOJ said so, whereas questioning election results isn’t OK because the government also says so.
The Supreme Court heard arguments on the scope of presidential immunity after special counsel Jack Smith alleged that former President Donald Trump should be tossed in jail for questioning the administration of the 2020 election.
James O’Keefe on Friday said he is about to release the most important story of his entire career.
“I have evidence that exposes the CIA, and it’s on camera. I am working on releasing a story that I believe is the most important of my entire career,” O’Keefe said on Friday.
“Do you think it’s a coincidence that right at this moment I am subject to an endless series of attacks?” he said. “This is obviously a sophisticated information operation designed to stop me from releasing this story. I’m sure you recognize they are masters of using half-truths and innuendos to raise doubt against people who don’t deserve it.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is a survivor, sort of. According to fresh reporting Friday in The New York Post, an attempt was made — from within Biden's inner circle — to oust the president's spokeswoman last fall over concerns she wasn't performing at the level necessary to pitch Biden's agenda leading up to the 2024 election.Any loyal Townhall reader will know that Jean-Pierre is...not great at fielding reporters' questions and explaining President Joe Biden's policies. The tell-tale sign of a bad news cycle for Biden: Jean-Pierre kicks off the daily briefing and then tags in someone else to handle the brunt of tough questions,
You just can’t make this stuff up.
Joe Biden on Friday morning called into “The Howard Stern Show” in an unannounced appearance on the far-left shock jock’s SiriusXM show.
“I think I should leave now,” Biden joked as Howard Stern slobbered all over him.
“I know everyone’s going to think I’m doing a fake interview with you, but you are really here,” Stern said. The live interview went sideways after Joe Biden absurdly claimed he “got arrested standing on a porch with a black family” during the civil rights movement.
Biden recounted a conversation with his mother: “She said Joey, remember – true story – remember when they were desegregating…
A bill similar to Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law, dubbed by liberals as “Don’t Say Gay,” is progressing in the Alabama state legislature, according to a report from ABC News.
Reportedly, H.B. 130 would expand already-existing restrictions on discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity in schools from kindergarten through fifth grade. The current law states that teachers for this age group “shall not engage in classroom discussion or provide classroom instruction regarding sexual orientation or gender identity in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards."
The new legislation would expand this to eighth grade
Joe Biden again mused about fighting Donald Trump on the playground in a meandering interview with Howard Stern that took the president through family tragedies, morbid thoughts, and recollections of his time as a young widower in the Senate where his dating life became a 'celebrity issue.'
Biden said he would be 'happy' to meet Trump on the debate stage, after earlier casting doubt on the idea during, in a bizarre conversation with Stern on his Sirius XM that lasted more than an hour and hit highlights plucked from Biden's action-packed 81-year-old life story.
'Trump makes fun of me, right?' Biden told Stern. 'Here's the kind of guy that
We all got a laugh, chuckle, or at least a headshake from the video of the clueless young woman who had come down to NYU from Columbia. She knew people were protesting, and it had something to do with Palestine.
God knows we can use the laugh these days.
Similarly, there have been reports that many of the students at the big Columbia Camp-In are just there because it is cool to shout slogans, wave flags, and wear keffiyehs. You know, cuz it's counter-cultural and cutting edge and stuff. Those kids are having a high time raising hell and making friendship bracelets
President Joe Biden opened up about the dark times he endured after his first wife and daughter died in a car crash, describing to radio host Howard Stern on Friday how he contemplated suicide.
Biden sat for a surprise interview during a visit to New York.
In one of the most revealing passages he talked of his despair at the death of Neilia and their 13-month-old daughter Naomi in December 1972.'I don't drink. That's not a virtue. I just never drank,' he said.
'And I used to sit there and think to myself, I think I'll take out a bottle of Scotch.
The "criminal" trial of former president Donald J. Trump is underway, and there is much speculation about the merits of the case. We can dispense with that up front: the merits are practically nonexistent.
Partisan prosecutor Alvin Bragg, more showman than lawman, alleges that a 2016 transaction from the Trump Organization was deceptively categorized in its accounting. Even if that dubious claim were true, it is only a misdemeanor offense whose statute of limitations ran out long ago. So how is it that a felony trial is underway for an act that isn't a felony, and is well outside the statute of limitations?
In 2017, the Federal Aviation Administration revoked James M. Fejes Jr.’s pilot’s license, after he had been flying cannabis products to shops around Alaska with Flying High Investments, his company that was dissolved in 2020.
Fejes challenged the revocation in federal district court, saying the federal government does not regulate commerce within the state of Alaska. He was not crossing state lines with his bundles of weed, so interstate commerce laws didn’t apply. His arguments failed the Ninth Circuit.
“Although many states have legalized recreational marijuana, it continues to be a controlled substance federally,” Judge Ryan D. Nelson wrote in the ruling.
After the release of this incriminating audio, federal agents raided J6 political prisoner Ryan Samsel’s jail cell and dragged him to solitary confinement in the hole of the Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn on Thursday night.
Earlier today, Alicia Powe at The Gateway Pundit exposed J6 insurrection leader Ray Epps lying to the FBI in a leaked interview to The Gateway Pundit.
Epps repeatedly lied to authorities saying he was listening to President Trump’s speech at the Ellipse when there is numerous video clips proving Epps was not being truthful.
Ray Epps was directing Trump supporters to the US Capitol for hours before the protests on Capitol Hill.
The issue of presidential immunity is being tested in the DC political Lawfare case against President Donald Trump.
As the Jack Smith prosecution claims President Trump tried to “overturn the results of the 2020 election,” the issue of presidential actions intended to secure & protect the legitimacy of election outcomes becomes a focus.
The legal counsel for President Trump has stated any action by the president to ensure election security falls within official acts, and is therefore subject to immunity from prosecution. The special counsel claims the act of reviewing an election outcome is a private benefit to the president and not part of presidential immunity.
Top aides to President Biden secretly hatched a plan this past fall to replace White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre by recruiting outside allies to nudge her out the door, The Post has learned.
Jean-Pierre, who made history in May 2022 by becoming the first black and first openly gay person to hold the position, had developed the exasperating habit of reading canned answers directly from a binder to reporters at her regular briefings — offering what her superiors viewed as a less-than-compelling pitch for the 81-year-old Biden as he readied his re-election campaign.

George Soros and his hard-left acolytes are paying agitators who are fueling the explosion of radical anti-Israel protests at colleges across the country.
The protests, which began when students took over Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus lawn last week, have mushroomed nationwide.
Copycat tent cities have been set up at colleges including Harvard, Yale, Berkeley in California, the Ohio State University and Emory in Georgia — all of them organized by branches of the Soros-funded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) — and at some, students have clashed with police.

A leading green energy trade group whose members include Chinese companies lobbied the White House in a bid to stave off potentially stiffer tariffs targeting Chinese solar companies.
The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) pushed the White House to boost its support for domestic solar manufacturers as part of a gamble to to weaken calls for even more stringent tariffs from American companies, according to Bloomberg News. The efforts attempted to preempt petitions that could lead to new or strengthened protections for the American industry, the outlet reported.

On Thursday, presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump revealed outside a Manhattan courtroom that his campaign is planning a massive campaign rally at Madison Square Garden and the South Bronx as Trump continues to campaign in the Empire State.
"And I think we have a good chance of winning New York. We're going to give it a big play," Trump explained. "We're going to go to the South Bronx to do a rally and we're going to do a rally at Madison Square Garden. We'll be honoring the people who make New York work. We're honoring a lot of people. It will be very exciting."
Former White House attorney Ty Cobb said he is “almost certain” former President Trump’s federal election interference case won’t be tried before the November election, after the Supreme Court heard arguments related to it Thursday.
“So, I think it benefits Trump in the sense that it’s almost certain that this case will not get tried before the election, in my view. So it benefits him in that regard,” Cobb told CNN’s Erin Burnett on “OutFront.” On the other hand, nothing that the justices are going to do is going to benefit his case, other than the delay,” he continued, adding the justices won’t buy Trump’s “absolute immunity argument.”
Some of the signs say "pro-Palestine", "ceasefire now" and "end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza". But these benign statements hide a far more malignant agenda, the end of Israel as the nation-state of the Jewish people, the end of America as the world's leading power and the end of democracy and the free market economy. Even if there were a unilateral ceasefire, accompanied by massive humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza, many of these protests would continue, because Gaza is merely an excuse for a much wider agenda: to destroy Israel and destroy America.
Writer Ray Bradbury once said, “Living at risk is jumping off the cliff and building your wings on the way down.”
In Thursday’s case before the Supreme Court on the immunity of former President Donald Trump, nine justices appear to be feverishly working with feathers and glue on a plunge into a constitutional abyss.
It has been almost 50 years since the high court ruled presidents have absolute immunity from civil lawsuits in Nixon v. Fitzgerald.
The court held ex-President Richard Nixon had such immunity for acts taken “within the ‘outer perimeter’ of his official responsibility.”
The Supreme Court justice who authored the Dobbs ruling overturning Roe v. Wade jumped headlong Wednesday into the debate about whether a fetus is entitled to the same rights as a person.
Abortion-rights advocates were concerned ahead of arguments that the case about whether Idaho’s abortion ban violated a federal emergency care law might be used to advance the fight for fetal rights. The Department of Justice argued that the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) requires hospitals that take Medicare funds to provide stabilizing treatment to a patient in an emergency, even if that treatment is an abortion.
Everyone knows that political pundits, social media influencers, and the corporate media love a good narrative. And one of their favorites for years has been the claim that Arizona is trending blue—that a demographic shift toward Democrats is inevitable. This ‘conventional wisdom’ is repeated so often that much of the Republican political class in the state has accepted it as fact. Some are even advising candidates that the only path forward for Republicans is to abandon their conservative principles, embrace center-left policy solutions, and settle for a future of divided government.
Utah Republican Gov. Spencer Cox is running for reelection this year with funding from some of the nation’s largest Democrat donors.
In December, Cox received a $50,000 donation from David E. Cumming and another $50,000 donation from John Cumming, both of whom registered their contributions under the same Wyoming address as the Cumming Foundation. The foundation’s vice president and executive director, Annette Cumming, was previously the board chair for Planned Parenthood Association of Utah and is currently on the Planned Parenthood Federal Political Action Committee.

In a leaked audio recording posted on social media, New Mexico Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham can be heard expressing deep frustration with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and threatening to send a letter accusing his department of failing to work with her on border security. “For the love of god, put [Border Patrol agents] at the border in Sunland Park where I don’t have a single Border Patrol agent — not one. And people pour over. And so I’m cranky with the Secretary,” Grisham is heard saying in the audio, which was first posted by an anonymous account on X.
An incident involving a physical attack by a female Secret Service agent tasked with protecting Vice President Kamala Harris is raising questions about whether the agency had thoroughly vetted her during her hiring and whether an ongoing push to increase the numbers of women in the service and boost overall workforce staff played a role in her selection.
