A little boy knew exactly what he needed to do to save his loved ones when tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma on Saturday. Nine-year-old Branson Baker and his parents were in their truck when they found themselves in the path of the severe storms that hit the state and devastated communities, the New York Post reported Thursday. [Tweet] Branson and his parents, Wayne and Lindy Baker, were trying to make it to a shelter in Dickson, which is located north of Marietta, when the worst happened, according to CBS Texas. The extremely powerful winds lifted their truck and tossed it into some trees.

A sheriff in Palm Beach County, Florida, is pointing fingers at the Biden administration for its failure to address the border crisis following an alleged sexual assault on an 11-year-old girl by a 20-year-old illegal immigrant. Marvin Dionel Perez Lopez, a Guatemalan national, is accused of the crime. He was reportedly released by Border Patrol agents into the United States despite entering the country illegally from Mexico.

The current "free speech zone" for the convention is in Pere Lafayette Park, a mere quarter of a mile from the convention venue. By comparison, the Democrats in Chicago have set up a free speech zone about three miles from the United Center where the convention will be held.
