America is in a Deepwater Horizon Moment

Moments like the one we live in now come along from time to time, providing the opportunity to learn from the mistakes of the past. For instance, key takeaways from the Deepwater Horizon incident of April 2010 and how they apply to today are clear except to those who deny them. On Apr. 20, 2010, an explosion occurred on the Deepwater Horizon drilling platform in the Gulf of Mexico. The explosion, which killed 11 men, caused the rig to sink into the deep and started a devastating oil leak from the well. Prior to it being capped three months afterward, roughly 134 million gallons of oil had spilled

FTA - A very serious and ominous warning to all Americans - "...Patriots who “hope” the November elections will result in the desired outcome of a Trump win but refuse to vote are naively trusting America into the hands of supposed experts who are saying all is well." Everyone must vote for Donald J. Trump - this includes his loyal-to-the-death base, the never-Trump rinos, the never-Trump dim base, the Trump-loving dim base, and all of the independent voters regardless of their political leanings. But also understand that while Trump will be able to start leading the country in January 2025 out of the expected financial crisis that looms, he will not, by himself, be able to cure the cancer of human greed and corruption that has metastasized in congress and the federal government. It will take years to gradually purge the ranks and restore America as founded. I hope it becomes so.

This may be an urban legend, but didn’t the Environmentally friendly Obama Administration refuse help from Norway? Who had offered immediate use of their equipment to clean up these kinds of spills. Maybe someone here can verify that. I was in Fort Walton Florida as that oil slick approached their white sand beaches. The locals wanted to move all the white sand back with bulldozers, then dig a trench to capture the oil. The EPA forbid them from doing anything because they did not have the time to file an Environmental Environmental Impact Statement. Only in America. Truly sad.

B'H I am reminded of other man made disasters, where "experts" and other persons with interests in the money making status quo (greed?) contradicted cold, hard facts (the Titanic disaster, for a popular example). Human hubris? For sure, but it is not themselves or loved ones who pay the ultimate price. Money is cheap; human life is not. The price bad actors will pay is Righteously Judged and exacted by The One Before Whom we will all stand and give account. Are you forgiven and covered by The Blood of Yeshua? Soon and very soon. Choose you this day whom you shall serve.

How odd the way humor in our society is unfolding. Christianity, white males, male sports, conservative women, conservative Black people, and conservative Supreme Court justices, among others are considered prime territory for late-night talk show hosts. Meanwhile, it is taboo to joke about Islam, Native Americans, liberal women, most minorities, and the trials and tribulations of many Leftist politicians. Consider the long-run theatrical play, “The Book of Mormon.” It is an award-winning musical comedy. With a first performance in 2011, the production irreverently portrays and lampoons the practices and beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, formerly known as Mormons.

Lara Trump managed to handle an awkward moment during an episode of her podcast when she held a question and answer session with one viewer asking if she was 'as stupid as she appears to be.' Without missing a beat, Trump, who is the wife of Eric Trump, continued calmly and turned her likely rehearsed answer into a direct attack on the Democratic Party. 'Oh! This is a nice one, "Is Lara Trump as stupid as she appears to be?" What is it that—that's stupid? Let me ask you that, sir or ma'am. I am—again, I say this all the time, I'm just giving you information and the facts,' Trump responded.

After a week stuck in court Donald Trump planned to cut loose in front of thousands of adoring fans in North Carolina on Saturday. But severe thunderstorm warnings meant he had to cancel the rally in Wilmington at the last minute, sending thousands of disappointed supporters home as conditions became too dangerous. Instead of railing for 90 minutes against New York prosecutors, election interference and Joe Biden, Trump delivered a one-minute audio message telling people to leave. 'It's a danger to all of this,' he said, in a message played through the sound system. 'And we want to make sure that everybody is safe

Washington, DC–Reps. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Chip Roy (R-TX) slammed Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for violating the Hastert Rule after the $60 billion Ukraine aid bill passed on Saturday without a majority of Republican support. The longstanding rule directs that a Republican speaker will only put legislation up for a floor vote if a majority of the GOP conference supports it. The rule is meant to prevent a GOP speaker from colluding with Democrats to pass bills. But most of the GOP did not back the Ukraine bill. While 101 Republicans and 210 Democrats voted for it, 112 Republicans voted against advancing it to the Senate, meaning Johnson

Melania Trump talked about the importance of unifying the nation at a time when her husband's MAGA supporters are causing division in the Republican Party. 'We must unite in our effort to establish a society where equality is the everyday experience of every American,' the former first lady told Fox News Digital. 'Individual freedom provides a unifying set of principles, and ultimately establishes our American way.' 'Together, we must nourish and safeguard the seeds of liberty,' she continued. 'Because, when successful, America blossoms into a magnificent place where everyone can practice their beliefs, share new ideas, and express individualism — this is when we are our best.'

Following three days of legal wrangling a panel of seven men and five women has now been selected and they will assess his guilt or innocence over the coming weeks. Dershowitz, 85, says that the makeup of the jurors - who include a corporate lawyer, an investment banker, a software engineer and a teacher - suggest Trump will fare poorly. 'This is a bad jury for Donald Trump,' Dershowitz told Newsmax Friday. He goes as far as to say that

We are now roughly six and a half months from election day or election month, depending on your state’s election laws. Today, we’ll focus on Joe Biden’s recent polling surge, as shown in the Real Clear Politics Poll Average of Trump vs Biden. You will note Trump is up over Biden by a whopping 0.4 percentage points. If we remove the possible outlier Rasmussen survey from the average, showing Trump at +8, Joe Biden would be ahead by 0.4. Republicans might be dismayed by this, and Democrats encouraged. In January of this year, Trump was ahead of Biden by +4. Since then, the poll average

Thompson fully understands that there is a strong likelihood that the current Manhattan hush money trial or the upcoming Georgia RICO trial, both of which are open partisan lawfare rather than justice, will see at least one felony conviction and prison sentence for Trump. In other words, this legislation is an almost explicit call for Trump’s assassination. It’s been apparent since the get-go that the myriad criminal actions against Trump are a form of election interference. Each case
